made me very hungry.

So much must be down to the judge's personal taste, though. and sometimes the dishes that the single judge loves are rubbished by the terrible trio!

ripsishere · 01/05/2012 14:37

Blush I thought they were. I did wonder why they weren't spherical and smooth. I have cooked testicles and those last night confused me.
Was Chris the one with big pupils whose hands were shaking?

ripsishere · 01/05/2012 14:42

Well having looked at the website, Chris Fearon seems to have won it. Wonder what else I can unearth. Especially about the gorgeous marvellously talented Aiden.

Collision · 01/05/2012 19:33

Dont do spoilers please! Angry DH and I love this to the bitter end of the week!!

It is on at 6.30 this week.

ripsishere · 02/05/2012 07:35

OK, for 50p I'll keep my knowledge to myself. Actally, that is my knowledge I got bored and never went back.
This weeks judge really seems to have a downer on the man with the soul patch beard. Poor sod can't do anything right it seems.
Roll on tonight.

He is isn't he? I know they have to cultivate a certain air of disinterest, but Mr Corrigan is a proper bully. I won't go to his restaurant.
Poor beardy man last night, his puree collapsed. I want soul patch man to win.

Davros · 03/05/2012 13:43

This week's food is not good imo. Richard Corrigan's gurning when he gives his assessments and scores is hilarious! Give him a job in pant.

Davros · 03/05/2012 13:43

er that should say panto! Stupid correcting thingy

ripsishere · 03/05/2012 13:55

He would make a marvellous villain in pant.

ripsishere · 04/05/2012 08:17

Who will go through? I think the whole panel will be disappointed in the food and grudgingly put Chris no beard into the next level.

Finally it's the North west [[eek 5: North West (7th - 11th May) Judged by Marcus Wareing (The Berkeley, London)
Simon Rogan (L'Enclume, Cumbria)
Johnnie Mountain (The Atrium, Westminster)
Aiden Byrne (The Church Green, Cheshire)]]
I like the judge on this one too. He is made in the same way as the Brummie one whose name escapes me. Not a sneery pant villain.

I am planning to go to Aiden's when DH is next home. He does a very reasonable Sunday lunch menu.
Love the name Johnnie Mountain. He sounds like Grizzly Adams.

Changethatbulb · 04/05/2012 17:44

Envy at people going to fab restaurants.

I doubt the bearded one will win it tonight. He's gone overboard on the gimmicks.

Changethatbulb · 04/05/2012 20:37

I was wrong. Oh well.

fivegomadindorset · 04/05/2012 20:38

They have seen sense and moved the time which is so much better.

ripsishere · 05/05/2012 09:26

Change that bulb, it's not a weekly thing Grin. I only realised it was his after four months driving past thinking his name was familiar.

Changethatbulb · 05/05/2012 11:52

I'm still Envy

The nearest thing we have to celebrity round here is The Colonel (KFC)

ripsishere · 05/05/2012 17:15

Grin don't you have Nandos? We have one, I've never been into it though. I think I went in the one in Emporium in Bangkok. Could have been something else though.

Changethatbulb · 05/05/2012 17:30

Nandos, McDs, Frankie & Bennys are near here. Smile. Classy...

I'm not far from Manchester though and have enjoyed a few good meals at 'The Stock' restaurant. Not exactly top notch but good food all the same.

Davros · 08/05/2012 11:38

Drool, I am going to Purnells for full on dinner tomorrow. There is going to be some big shock tonight, is Johnny Mountain (Gary Oldman) going to walk out?! This bunch are much better than last week's
