TigerFood it's not always the case at all. Most people I know weren't in hospital until quite late in the day. I made it about 30 minutes before delivery for both of mine, but then I have quick labours and a husband who wouldn't countenance the idea of home birth

We got sent home from hospital at less than 4cm unless other factors (eg bleeding, meconium). How come these are all in hosp so early?

Think fostered girl wants to be induced because she is in a lot of pain I thought I heard the midwife say. Poss because of pelvic separation which is why she was in wheelchair as well?
