Is Homeland Great or What?!

Just watched part 2 of Homeland shown on Channel 4 last night.

Fantastic drama with an excellent script, superb acting and lots of twists and turns.

Has he been brainwashed????

anyway it was a fantastatic final, thankfully as it would have been so disappointing if it hadnt been.
and she did stop him blowing up everyone, even if she didnt know it.

I didn't think the baddies/goodies thing was too obv/clear cut, either. Obv Abu Nazir is a bit of a cunt, but so is the Vice President, Estes etc etc

...I had to watch Nuts in May after to calm myself down

I was gutted she wasn't vindicated publicly & was shouting at the TV that she was right all along & they should be paying attention to her! The whole thing was so cleverly done - I loved itGrin

i loved it too, couldnt sleep for thinkingof it #just the beep at the end of her ECT that sounded like something and i am sure i heard that one of them wouldnt be in it.

Carrie wakes from her treatment and it's all a dream and we start back at the beginning again.
Seriously, bit disappointing I thought, as I can see it all dragging out for the sake of it. Would have been better if they'd finished with the one series.

Carrie's boss was in the dr who Xmas special a couple of years ago - the one with the master. Saw it today on watch. ( fascinating fact of the day)

I think Mrs Brody put 2 and 2 together. Brody had disappeared for the weekend then she saw Carrie and him on the front lawn. I think it dawned on her then.

I reckon it was the mole. Means they can blackmail Brody should he turn back. Don't reckon it was Walker ~ wouldn't push the story on at all. The video will become uber important in Series 2. It's Carrie's proof.

Who do you reckon the mole is shandy? Could only be Saul as he was the only CIA person to know about Carrie & Brody??

I've thought about this programme all day - really do think it was such a clever episode & part of me wishes Brody had gone through with it Blush. It would have served the Vice President & Estes right, not only for what they did, but also for covering it up as without the cover up, Carrie would have figured it out & stopped Brody before he got that close to carry it out!

I need to stop thinking about it now!

Because he had realised that she loved Brody & thought that she was after revenge & there was no basis in what she was saying?

But-if Brody wasn´t a terrorist-why didn´t he just tell her about the time that Nazir went silent-that surely was also a giveaway?

Although of course he managed to cover to David-& Saul-by saying that they´d had an affair but that she must now keep away.
