Just watched part 2 of Homeland shown on Channel 4 last night.

Fantastic drama with an excellent script, superb acting and lots of twists and turns.

Has he been brainwashed????

Did anyone think that his wife was going to say that she was pregnant?

I'm still holding out that Brody is a double agent.

It's either Saul or the boss. I'm leaning towards the boss.

difficultpickle · 29/04/2012 23:15

Yes I thought that too. I think she is but changed her mind about telling him then.

BrightnessFalls · 29/04/2012 23:25

I guess that would have an impact on what he does next?

My mind is already racing towards season 2. What will that be about, I wonder?

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 30/04/2012 05:15

I think she's pregnant too, not sure who the mole is and I definitely think the daughter will figure Brody out but I think she'll try to talk him down and he'll kill her?
Great episode

Claire Danes acting was outstanding!

foxinsocks · 30/04/2012 07:34

I keep losing this thread off my threads I'm on

I was wondering whether Brody had finally had sex with her (given his earlier issues) but I might have fallen asleep in an episode when he did lol

I can't believe there's only one more!

AlexandraMary · 30/04/2012 08:04

I'm not sure I can wait until next Sunday. It's so gripping.

cocolepew · 30/04/2012 09:05

Wellll...that was excellant. i could imagine a collective Nooooooooooooooo when Brody went for the vest Grin

Right Saul = good, Estes= bad, Brody= still thinking double agent.

Claire Danes was outstanding tonight.

I can't wait until next week!

squeaver · 30/04/2012 09:37

You all need to watch this:

extended trailer for next week

squeaver · 30/04/2012 09:38

Agree with everyone - the daughter is the key to it all. She's going to figure it ALL out.

Hassled · 30/04/2012 10:21

Oh my god that trailer Shock. I cannot WAIT.

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 30/04/2012 11:59

Omg traitor was amazing!!!
Can't wait till next week!!

SpringHeeledJack · 30/04/2012 12:24

marking spot

I bloody love Homeland, me

(even though bits of it make me a bit Hmm)

squeaver · 30/04/2012 13:25

Think the daughter will turn him in the end.

FridayOLeary · 30/04/2012 13:28

THAT TRAILER Shock

Is Brody about to do a double whatsit? They think he's bad and then he turns good but Carrie and his daughter (who has a v dodgy boyfriend btw) do something and he does the right thing BUT then his DD gets bumped off so he turns bad anyway/again?

I think Saul is good and David is bad: which probably means it's the other way around tbh Grin

IloveJudgeJudy · 30/04/2012 15:55

Just wanted to add to the thread and say that I have watched all the episodes. Won't really say any more because of spoilers, but Fantastic! DH and I sat after the last episode like this Shock. What a great series. Has you on the back foot so much.

moonblushtomato · 30/04/2012 19:30

Agree with you all!

Best American series in ages, don't want it to end!!

The bit at the end when Carrie is ranting and the CIA guys are taking down her notes from the wall was amazing, she's an outstanding actress.

Think Dana's boyfriend will have some input too, he's been in it too much for him not to figure.

Only 6 days to go people!!

EightToSixer · 30/04/2012 19:39

Arghhh I knew I shouldn't have watched the trailer. It told us too much!!

HalleLouja · 30/04/2012 20:18

Or did it Eight?

Robotcornysilk · 01/05/2012 03:23

claire danes also played temple grandin in a film about her life - haven't seen it yet but want to

I think the boss is the mole also. Perhaps Brodie's wife's BF as well. He would have known that Brodie was coming back if he was a mole and could have purposely got close to the family. Brodie's wife confides in him a lot.

Atreegrowsinbrooklyn · 01/05/2012 03:31

I'm so annoyed that I found out how season one ends. Sunday's episode was so good.
Not so sure about the way the season ends though.....But will say no more.....Hmm.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 01/05/2012 08:50

I haven't watched the trailer, so may be barking up the wrong tree, but I still think Brody is a double agent. Abu Nazir thinks Brody is working for him but B is in fact working for the Americans. I still think Saul is a bad lot too, but I love him a little more every episode. He was adorable this week when he witnessed Carrie's mental state; he was so obviously hurting for her. I think he cares about her so much, even though he's working against her, and has massive conflict/guilt issues about it.

I don't think Estes is involved; he's just trying to keep everything above board.

whydoesit, what hands were you talking about?
