or in other words...what do you find the least intolerable! for some reason i can't stand waybaloo - it gets right on my tits and i just dont know why. i think show me show me is great, both ds's love it - and at half an hour that is precious time for mummy to get on with stuff! and anything with justin fletcher seems to hold their attention too so i'm a fan!
any other gems??

Did you know that there's a variety of tomato call Big Boy?

Just saying Grin.

HairyButtMonkey · 21/06/2011 20:07

We love Show Me Show Me (and think Poy is going to have a DD), ITNG, Me Too, Postman Pat, TimmyTime and Pingu. Try not to watch more than 2 programmes a day though... I hate Grandpa in my Pocket, and Tommy Zoom is just lame. On channel 5 I think Mr Men is great and particaultly like all the accents (Mr Messy = scouser, Mr Fussy = French). I refuse to let DS (13 months) watch Chuggington, Fireman Sam or Thomas the Tank Engine as I hate them and don't want him to get into them.

Man, I feel like a terrible parent now - far too much telly watching in my hoose!

SianBB · 21/06/2011 20:12

Tommy Zoom - both boy and dog deserve to be shot

Ivortheengine8 · 21/06/2011 20:15

Now that, funtime is a very interesting fact! Grin

Hairy, I think so too, I saw a bit of a belly on her today! She still annoys me with her squeaky voice though!

Don't like Tommy Zoom either. I love Mr men,Noddy....all those old favorites are good.

Funtimewincies · 21/06/2011 20:21

I'd like a big Monty Python foot to decend and squash Muffin from 3rd and Bird, but that may be because I'm a hideous old witch with the emotional receptiveness of a scone.

TimeForCake · 21/06/2011 20:30

We're also huge fans of Show me Show me, they always seem to talk about things DS likes. Chris & Pui are fab. We also like Grandpa in my pocket, Come Outside, Mr Bloom, Tinga Tinga and DS's new absolute favourite is Raa Raa which is very sweet.
Agree with everyone who dislikes Mighty whatsit and Kerwhizz. Also not keen on Yoko whatever it is, Same smile, Driver dan and The Green Balloon. Moreso Driver dan as bored of it now, liked it to start.

I think Cbeebies do a pretty good job on the whole.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 21/06/2011 20:33

Tommy Zoom, he's got to be the director's kid. He is R.U.B.B.I.S.H!

BoggyEyedMum · 21/06/2011 21:07

DD loves Show Me Show Me, especially when she can show off her groovy moves. Also anything with Justin Fletcher, "Katie Cooking" (her name for I can Cook), Mister Maker, Rastamouse, the list goes on...

Waybuloo is the worst - "Mummy it's BORING!" I totally agree.

I can't bear Green Ballon Club but DD loves it and has to wear her headscarf like Lily Rose when it's on. I am hoping this is just a brief phase. Ditto Kerwhizz.

EightiesChick · 21/06/2011 22:33

The Tommy Zoom child actor is not the best, for sure, though my DS inexplicably loves it. I was convinced it was made in the 90s with all its environmental themes, but no, it's from the last couple of years.

Surprising fact (turned up in the course of my research Smile): Daniel the dog is voiced by Jerome Flynn, formely of Robson & Jerome. I'm quite cheered by this.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 21/06/2011 22:45

Is it? That might just get me through it... :) It is a but global warming isn't it.

SianBB · 22/06/2011 05:50

What?! I find smug Daniel almost as irritating as Tommy... Robson should be ashamed.

KvetaBarry · 22/06/2011 09:50

what's the quiz show with all the puppet animals called? I quite like that one, and DS seems to find it amusing too for some reason. Tommy Zoom makes me want to chuck the TV out of the window, and Grandpa in My Pocket likewise. Both are just atrocious.

I'm also going off Everything's Rosie, in which a drippy girl spends her time sorting out all the boys who cause mischief; it's painful to watch.

EightiesChick · 22/06/2011 11:17

KvetaBarry Buzz and Tell?

SianBB It's Jerome (ie the one who hasn't been on telly for years) not Robson (the one who is on ITV every 5 mins)

SianBB · 22/06/2011 12:36

Was never sure which was which :)

alannabanana · 22/06/2011 15:53

hold the phone...nevermind mr bloom being a sexpot, i had a rude dream about kerwizzator last night and am er...looking at him differently today. please tell me he's not 12.

Shock alanna. Scrub yourself repeatedly!

scarlettsmummy2 · 22/06/2011 17:40

my daughter loves Something Special, she is two and a half. Although her favourite is the Simpsons which I feel very guilty about!!

Vic1982 · 23/06/2011 22:35

I love little charlie bear Bear, charlie & lola, and Mr Blooms nursery.
Cant stand Balamory or show me show me.

puffling · 23/06/2011 23:22

I love Mr Bloom's nursery, Mr Bloom himself and the music, the Gigglebiz king, the episode of Something Special in Norn Irn when Justin was Cliff Tumble, the Joulesy/Bodenishness of Grandpa in my Pocket, the shapes on Mr Maker, all of Come Outside, Charles Cheese and Mr Biscuits on Kerwhizz and Story Makers.
DD sometimes kindly turns over from CBBC to let me watch my favourite Cbeebies programmes.
I hae Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies, Squiglet, I Can Cook and Chuggington.

Mummyloveskisses · 24/06/2011 00:00

We love Show Me Show Me (noticed Pui's pregnancy today)are her and Chris married?), Same Smile, Any Justin Fletcher programme, Timmy Time, Alphablocks, Come Outside, Pingu, Numberjacks, In The Night Garden and Big Barn Farm (this list is way to big.... I have 3 children though and each has their own favourites)

hate Rastamouse, Zingzillas, I Can Cook, Big Cook Little Cook, Nuzzle and Scratch, Chuggington and the WORST by far.... Lazy Town!

MrsFruitcake · 24/06/2011 16:44

Mister Maker has always been a hit in our house, along with Big Barn Farm and Charlie & Lola. My DD has moved on to CBBC now, but she loved Balamory, Teletubbies and Me Too.

DS' personal favourites are Come Outside and Something Special. He also enjoys Horrible Histories on CBBC and Kipper on BT On Demand. DH got them a Chorlton & The Wheelies DVD and they love that so much it's been on non-stop this week.

redharrington · 27/06/2011 18:09

Pingu and anything with Justin.

MuddlingMackem · 27/06/2011 18:33

DS (now 7) loved Grandpa in my Pocket and Tommy Zoom, but dd (4) hates them.

She does like Show Me Show Me, Octonauts, Rastamouse, Something Special and 3rd and Bird. She has to be in the mood for Gigglebiz otherwise she tells me to turn it off. She's still into Lazytown but, again, it's if she's in the mood. She's very into Ben & Holly, Wotwots and Peppa Pig on Milkshake at the mo, so I have a stash of them on the PVR.

When ds was younger his favourites included Underground Ernie, The Fimbles, The Roly Mo Show and Come Outside. Now he still likes Telly Tales but he's more into Horrible Histories and other CBBC stuff, plus of course Ben 10 and stuff of that ilk on the Sky channels.

learningtofly · 27/06/2011 18:40

Timmy time, something special and secretly rastamouse :)
Ds is heavily into peppa pig though. I long for camberwick green myself

ronx · 27/06/2011 18:47

My DS is three and loves Tellytubbies, Octonauts, Show Me Show Me and Come Outside.
I am more of a Nuzzle and Scratch fan Blush.
