Yes she is a good businesswoman and immensely successful but having seen interviews she doesn't actually come across as being all that bright.

I think Madonna looks kind of strange. I look at her in her new video and I know I am meant to be impressed with her amazing body for a 47 year old but I'm not. Is it my imagination but is she moving very stiffly. The body looks young but the movements are stiff.

I don't think she looks any better than me (a bit of fat plumps out the lines) but she certainly has more money than me. Oh and she hasn't got the dark rings under her eyes like I do.

well i think she looks absolutely amazing, i would give anything for a bod like that now, im only 29! she takes a lot of care of herself, i think she deserves to flaunt what shes got, she obviously works very hard for it.

i was the biggest madonna fan ever there was growing up. and i'll admit that she looks fab for her years and beautiful children blah blah

but there is a touch of the munters about her these days, she looks very market-girl and she looks as though she smells of stale milk with those fishnets and wrinkly hands.

I think she looks great for her age and I don't blame her for flaunting it. I would!.
I do, however, get irritated with her sanctimonious, patronising clap trap about motherhood, particularly as she probably has an army of nannies, housekeepers etc to do most of the hard jobs anyway and that no doubt provides her with the time to spend hours exercising. Most of us mere mortals do not have that luxury so we should not compare ourselves to people like her.

I was particularly amused about her comments on banning her children from watching TV. Does the woman not realise that without the exposure that she receives on TV (ie adverts, Parkinson, MTV, Top of the Pops, her awful films etc), she would not be where she is?

She doesn't look great! She doesn't even look nice! She's just on the telly! When I click my fingers the scales shall fall from your eyes and you will be blind no more!

And she's always had the most terrible dress sense!

She looks fab to me. She's always reinventing herself and I think she does it really well.

apparently she hasn't hd a face lift but ties plaits in the back of her hair to pull her face tighter.

I have loved Madonna since the early 80's and although she does look older now, I hope I can look that good at 47. She does need to slow down on the old exercise though - her arms are a bit too muscly!!

Do think her body looks a bit of an odd shape in that leotard in her new video - obviously very toned and no flab but strangely lumpy. But I LOVE the leather bomber jacket/skinny jeans and boots combo she wears during the end sequence. I'd definitely wear that if I could getaway with it (I'm 42 and well preserved but even so...). If I had some curling tongs I'd also be constructing some 70s style flicks in my fringe too.

Think she's really innovative and talented - good luck to her.

Pip, need an excuse to be out of the public eye while your stitches heal - fall off a horse and break your arm (allegedly) then re-emerge looking like your younger but slightly butch sister. (Facelift number 3 I reackon, one more and she disappears up her own arse )

Seriously though, you might admire her shape but it's not sexy to very many men. She's never been much of an icon for men, but mostly women. Which I find all a bit odd cos she's so insecure too.

I really don't think she can get away with it. However many facelifts she still looks old next to real youth.
