Didn't see Parky but I am afraid that just find Madonna a pain in the arse generally (nowt to do with looks swings!). I certainly don't see her as a particularly important woman. I think she is a numpty. But that is just my opinion.

because at that age (when she first started)
all we had to look up to was Dynasty rejects in glitter tops
exceptions for glam was tina turner I suppose (cant think of top of head at mo for more)

and we all wanted to emulate the sexy image

but at what price in all seriousness

video clips are all about nowadays even less clothes or none with naughty bits smudged out

I've never wanted to emulate her, hate her tinny little singing voices, agree about the cold eyes, utterly lacking in any discernable (ible? - spelling is poo today) sense of humour. Plus, she looks better as a brunette.

I think she looks amazing for 47. Wish I had half her energy and determination now at 35. Whether you like her or not, you can´t deny her influence. I don´t see why she should give up the ghost just because of her age. I like strong women and I like Madonna. She´s an easy target really as she´s so gobby. I´m sure she can take it though.
