Baseball caps are literally a classic if you live in the US, it's just the UK are a bit snobby about US style. My advice is wear one that speaks to you. My 3 faves that I have in rotation are my son's rowing club and 2 that are related to 2 of my most favourite cities. I also go with men's sizes as I have a biggish head and a lot of hair.

Nothing to do with UK snobbery (many people in the US have no time for baseball caps unless somebody is, gasp, playing baseball). A baseball cap is aesthetically one of the wretchedest things you can put on your head. Don't even let me get started about what it does to draw attention to possibly unfortunate big ears while obscuring potentially attractive bits of you, like your eyes.

I’ve got a Boston one. Blue with green logo. But I bought it at Fenway Park so I think that makes it cool.

I think you need to be careful with what hair you wear with a baseball cap. Pony tail? perfect - place the tail through the hole and you're a natural. Shorter hair and bobs - differ - it works. But fluffy curls? No?
I am a a wearer of bb caps. I find them easy to grab and go. I tend to buy them when I visit somewhere nice. I have a couple of good ones from the isles of Scilly's Hell Bay Hotel for instance, and one from a trip to an obscure hotel in St Lucia. But I steer clear of big and obvious or flashy brands.

I bought my son one from Jelbert's ice cream in Newlyn and he loves wearing it in London and attracting other Cornish folk!

I also play tennis though, where they're de rigeur, so don't view them as connected with baseball at all!

They're not American! They shouldn't even be called baseball caps. Cricketers have been happily wearing them for a century and a half, though a hat keeps off the sun better.

I think you need to work out which style suits your face, there is a range of hats on this thread- and not all are baseball hats! It really depends what look you want to go for. 5 panel relaxed= more outdoorsy, trucker hat = more about the logo etc etc

I have a tiny head, they’re all too small on me, so have just never worn one, I’ve managed.

I am late thirties and live in a tentree cap most of the year (hence my username). Sadly I’ve had them for getting on for ten years now, and I bought my collection of about 5 of them when they were end of line in the US.

They’re similar to this one, and I genuinely feel cooler when I put one on 😂 but I do wear a cap when it’s sunny or rainy all year round, and a woolly hat when it’s cold so I do spend most of my time outside in a hat.

Uniqlo plain black. Couple of weeks ago they had a linen blend one for £7 in the sale.

Pretty understated but lovely shape. The merit of baseball caps is fairly academic for us light sensitive migraine sufferers.

I also have an h&m wooly one for cooler weathers

Von Dutch do cool hats imo. I'm 40, prob too old to wear baseball caps but recently bought one in the 34degree heatwave, it was lovely. I'm pale and don't want my head to burn!

I’m not a hat person but also don’t want a burnt scalp! I got this one from Next for £12 which I thought was ok! My brother suggested it and he’s quite cool 😂

Uniqlo have a great selection of Dad caps inspired by 80s artists. Very RL but less obvious

Im 61 and have A North Face one which suits me best and an Under Armour and New Balance one. I wear them for work when im working outside in the sun or when im hiking.
Id never go round town in it!
