That just means that they're popular. And commonly seen. Maybe even considered fashionable. Doesn't mean they're cool, though ...!!!

(I freely admit I have a - possibly irrational - dislike of them. Ditto boat shoes. And thongs - of both the toe & up-the-bum variety ... I'm sure there are other things I've forgotten about!!)

"Loads of people" are wearing shapeless wide legged cropped trousers but it doesn't mean that shapeless wide legged cropped trousers actually do anything for anybody (except perhaps if you are 5'10" and size 4)

Nope isn’t meant in a sheep defence, I only like what I like, I don’t just follow. I was using it as an example of there being a lot around and that they can look good…(in my opinion at least)

I think every one of those outfits would look better if they ditched the baseball caps!! But hey, it's all about personal taste & we all have different likes & dislikes 😊!!

It fits well and it’s quite inoffensive! I wear it to keep the sun off my aging forehead! I am 39. I tried a few others from primark that didn’t fit as well. I want another one in a different colour next. IMO that red sequin one is awful and would only suit a 6 year old girl!

Baseball caps only look cool on already cool people. I have two neighbours who wear one, one is about 80. She is effortlessly cool and stylish and looks great in it. The other is in her fifties and looks ridiculous, it's pretty must the same cap (the NY one already linked on here).

I have one I wear from Ale-Hop which is probably not cool but works well to keep the sun out my eyes when walking and I do tend to put my hair up under it too. There's a million options, wear what you like!

I've started wearing a cheapish baseball cap as my scalp burns more easily with age. I also have a broad brim hat but they're not so practical. Embroidered caps look cooler than printed, but I think a distressed plain one looks best.

I think it's very common to hate baseball caps...I can remember my dad and other adults moaning about them in the 90s!

I was briefly cool wearing a baseball hat, when a rainbow lorikeet landed there.

I wear this on days I can’t be arsed washing my hair, drizzly dog walk days and when I know my head is going to be in the sun for hours. Couldn’t care less if it’s cool or not, I like it and it does the job it’s meant to.

My tip is to get a men’s one. Women’s ones are too small.

I think they look cool. I also think it is impossible to differentiate between a cheap Zara baseball cap and a 'designer' one.
