Kayali Marrakech in a bottle today - bursts of sunshine amidst the rain, so chose something suited to a sunny day. Optimistic!

My liberty beauty edit (the manly one - although I'd say contents are unisex) is waiting for me at home with the new (to me) Abel perfume - banana split or something it's called. Will update on snif report when I have had chance to try it.

Other than that it's been a day of Mojave Ghost. It is lovely but I try not to re buy stuff too much so I can make space for new stuff, so when this sample ends I may move on.

The new Abel is called Miami Split. Banana+ oud. Strange combo but I like it! One for experimental fans.

Not sure I'd want to wear it all the time but its interesting as an occasional reach.

SOT Morning is DS and Durga Coriander. This doesn't actually smell much like coriander but is certainly green and herby and maybe a bit spicy. I love it, although not a massive fan of the rollerball oil format. I feel like I get a proper hit from the spray format (aware I sound like a drug addict!!)

My miller harris order is out for delivey- woo hoo. I got the stories set plus some samples to make up to free delivery.

Beauty Detective is saying look fantastic due to launch 2 gourmand scent edits shortly... Not sure I want gourmand in summer but let's face it it's not much of a summer at the moment...

SOTD Beauty Pie La Botanista - this was one of the three BP scents I bought back in 2024 when I was rediscovering perfume, I don't think it's on Fragrantica? To me it's clean green tomatoes, with something sharp, almost sour/citrus underneath. It definitely suits warmer weather, and reminds me of reminds me of Les Belles de Ricci from my youth.

Nice change. I wasnt keen commodity milk but this is nice. Had to give a few good squirms as i did my usual 2 and couldn't smell anything after 20 mins. Can still smell it 3 hours later and has not faded much x

Hair mists are great to whomever mentioned them. Especially for the day and in public.

I had a poke in m and s and forgot how lovely the Apothecary range is. Bought some handwash (and sale jeans).

I've actually had two SOTDs so far 🤭. Early morning - Dotto 1+7, lovely warm lemoniness. Lunchtime mystic bliss (Goldfield and banks). Really enjoying it - creamy fig.

Lots of sniffs today

Another sniff of this, I would like to try it on skin. I like it, it doesn't smell as expensive but I enjoy the smell. I do need skin test though I wore the original Valya yesterday and I found the dry down really downer - way too artificial

Armani Privé Orange Méditerranée I do like that but I feel I have enough citruses.

Tom Forge Taormina Orange - it's nice, but not for me

Chasing Sunsets Replica Maison Margiela - maybe I smelled too much but I can not smell this at all, like at all.

Dior Paradise - it's fine, if it was in Zara I will jump on it but not at that price. It's just not that special

Destin Balmain Beauty - it's nice, I wouldn't mind testing it on paper.

Most are just sniff from the bottles apart from PDM on tester strip and Jo Malone veggies. Not best way to smell perfume but I was trying good few - I didn't want to spray too many on skin or paper.

I do like Tom Forde figue a lot, I will be looking for it around black Friday

Wow you have been busy @MiaN The veggie set sounds interesting, I'm not massively a JM fan so think it is safe from me. Plus I have Miller Harris on the way, DPD due in the next hour or so.

I've been rediscovering original Good Girl today. Really got in to this last year and I can remember why now - it's a lovely unusual (for designer) scent - addictively warm and mellow (I think from the tonka) but has coffee notes in too. Maybe Jasmine. Anyway I do like it which is good as I bought a FB last year, then got bored of it, and now it's here with half the bottle left.

Miller Harris box arrived..happy with it. Trying one of the smaller samples, oud eclat. Its a light oud, reminds me of oud for greatness.
Also happy with 2 x scherzo hand anx body wash which were £10 each plus the stories set. Wish there was oud elated in the stories set alas no. There is scherzo and soufflot which I like plus some new ones.

Tom ford Fig Erotique is truly wonderful. The most ive ever spent on one perfume ( per ml), was a birthday treat and absolutely no regrets... apart from the fact that you can't see how much is left in those bottles !
