I love that one - got a discounted bottle on Notino as the box was slightly dented (perfume fine!) - always worth a look on there for stuff

@QueefofSheena I have been wearing the M&G strawberry the past few days. I'm surprised how much I like it! Very glad to have picked up three of the 3ml samples when CB had the 5 for £5 offer on!

SOTD today though was Liberty Tana Meadow.

Miller Harris have a sale on, any MH fans. I got the stories set and a couple of scherzo hand and body washes to take me over the free delivery spend threshold.

Ohhh thank you so much for the MH sale news,I was thinking of buying the sample set anyway so instead got seven travel sizes! I only tried scherzo before but have blind faith in them somehow. Now will have to figure out if one of them is male leaning so that can gift to my partner. June is going to be stressful at work at least I will smell good.

Soufflot is very nice, reminds me of tom ford tobacco vanille and unisex but definitely man suitable if you happened to get that one, I think it was on sale as a travel size. I love it!

Obvs I will go for Ô de Lancôme today! It’s going to be a trip back 1980s London for me and I am absolutely here for it!

The MH sale is tempting me today! Eyeing a travel size Tea Tonique and the bergamot soap. If it’s not sold out at the end of the day I’ll push the button.

SOTD is Bal D’Afrique for my first day in the new office. Nearly at the end of my 2ml sample and really enjoying it, I’d consider a travel size in it as it’s smooth and elevated and doesn’t disappear on me as swiftly as Gypsy Water does.

Exploring more of what’s in the Cult Beauty Limited Edition 2025 calendar. Today is Kilian Paris Good Girl Gone Bad 7.5ml £33.75 (£225 for 50ml). I can’t really smell it at all and I sprayed it generously. Maybe my smell receptors have been burned off by the cough syrup Kayali 42.

Yesterday I tried Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 59 90ml £24 FULL SIZE . That was fun and lasted about an hour. Good sticky weather product.

Wow you have more restraint than me if I see something I like particularly on sale I have to get it straight away for fear it will sell out!

Tea Tonique reminds me of dear polly- lemony tea - it's nice but when I wear it I can't help thinking 'I wish it was dear polly' which in my view is nicer.

SOTD - put on Valaya but I'm not feeling it for some reason so it's coming off. Think i will go for TF Fig Erotique. Meetings today so nothing too strong. They are used to me in this office though and I get lots of 'what's that smell - Rainbows must be in' comments. No one is perfume allergic or said it irritates them though. And I regularly hand out freebies.

@MotherWol if you like bald’afrique and I do, worth trying the original rare beauty fragrance and hair mist. Find comfort it is called. It’s very similar and there is a small test size often on offers for £c 15

The Kilian Paris Good Girl Gone Bad Is very subtle and lasting. Get a nice waft when I move my arms about.

@IDontHateRainbows I'm having to be very restrained at the moment since I'm between jobs and my fun money has been slashed to the bone! I popped in to the MH store on my way past and had a sniff of the TT extrait and it's lovely, but the Sales Associate was kind of disinterested and unwelcoming so I'll buy online.

@Lurkingshark thanks for the tip, I don't think I've tried the Rare Beauty perfumes but I'll keep an eye out, particularly as Bal D'Afrique, while lovely, is on the pricy side!

I don't usually layer but I was inspired to mix lannosea + vanilla powder and it works! Creamy, lemony vanilla. Yum

I keep my samples in a little Prestat chocolate box as well 😊and I have a second one for empties, because I'm weirdly curious about how much I'll actually use up in a year!

SOTD is Diptyque L’eau de Hesperides. I really like this so much! So green! Bit of pencil shavings (which I love btw!). It doesn’t last particularly long but I’ll reapply before going out tonight!

I’ve been lurking in here for a while. I always find it interesting what everyone is wearing. @TragicMuse sotd, reminded me of a revelation I’ve had recently. For the last 2 years I have ordered the Diptyque summer countdown calendar and I just love the Ilio perfume which has become my summer scent. However this year I noticed they had changed it to eau des sens hair mist. So after having a rant about swapping a perfume for a hair mist I looked up the previous 2 years sets and both summers I’ve been spritzing myself with hair mist thinking it was perfume. I’m not sure I’ve ever sprayed an actual Ilio perfume but it made me thing that the hair mist is soo much cheaper than the perfume and lasted well so might be a much cheaper way to create a Diptyque scent. I will compare next time I see these in store but this might have been a nice accidental discovery that I thought I would share.
