Removing microbladed eyebrows - URGENT

Has anyone had microbladed eyebrows removed? I had microblading done on Tuesday, and the brows are odd - one higher, arched, thin and light. The other is short, curved, dark and diferent altogether. I rang the salon the next morning and spoke with the woman who did it (she owns the salon). After a great deal of hostility from her, she asked me to go tomorrow morning ao that she can "sort it out". Googling it, it seems that the best method would be lasering, but I'm worried.

Honestly OP they really don’t look that bad, my natural eyebrows are different shapes, sizes and sit at completely different angles to each other, That being said you are definitely owed a refund.

Thanks for all your comments. I saw the lady, told her exactly how I felt. She said she'd measured my face etc., and thought it all looked fine. She was very friendly and pleasant, offered to redo them or laser them off at some stage (I declined both offers), and she refunded me - I asked for cash, which I got. I'll keep washing them, and then by Wednesday I shall be able to use make-up and a pencil on them.

This! The only thing I noticed was your beautiful eye lashes and eyes, i only went looking for a problem with your eyebrows because of the post. It's a real shame youre not happy, and that a seemingly untrained person has taken your money (I hope you get a refund!) But theyre not as bad as it feels to you at all

As a beautician I would notice and see where she’s gone wrong. However, I don’t think she’s done a bad job at the actual microblading it’s just the shape and positioning. Eyebrows are sisters not twins but these guys aren’t even related.

I would probably spend as much time mapping and prepping as I would the actual treatment if not longer. I’d check and double check them with you lying down and sitting up to make sure they sit right.

Im glad you got your money back as I can see why you weren’t happy. Definitely try another brow tech they will be able to correct this. Avoid doing too much to try remove as you don’t want the area to get sore or damage the skin xx

Glad you got your refund OP. The photos show that she did a bad job but the colour is faint so a bit of foundation and eyebrow pencil should mean you look good for your hols, though you shouldn't have to both with that. Have a great time.

I assume you had a meeting with the artist beforehand and established she & the premises were registered with your local authority before she can perform this medical procedure. She should possess a VTCT Level 4 certificate.(legal requirement) Also a valid certificate of Insurance

Did you complete a medical questionnaire giving her all your medical history and any medicines you take?

If you didn't do any of the above, perhaps you need to investigate this matter further.

Microblading is an expensive procedure and will cost you more than a few hundred pounds,

If cheaper than that, then I would be asking questions about her qualifications & registration.

@TryAndGetOutOfThat they are obviously not matching, but they really don't look that bad. We are always hyper aware of any 'faults' we see in ourselves.
They're not very dark, which is good. And will probably fade even more.

You got your money back, which is great, and you know to do some more homework (looking at previous work, asking the technician how they do it, how long it should take etc) before you let someone loose on them again!

Honestly, a big pair of sunnies and some great lippy will see you through... have a wonderful holiday!

Please.just have patience...don't do.anything drastic. You will feel.differently in a few days when it calms down.

Mine are like this naturally lol they are honestly ok. I would be angry having paid and its not what you asked for, but you do not look ugly x

Ok I'm sorry I haven't read it all so others mat have already said. I'm sorry you have had this nasty experience. But before I saw the photo I imagined much worse. It's not perfect by any means but honesty not something that would draw attention. I fully understand why you're so upset. However people on your holiday won't notice and if they do it will be a minor thing. I can almost guarantee it. I have think brows and I've missed them up many a time making them uneven, overplucking, cutting bald patches in them. Nobody cares about brows hat much really. Esoecially not if you wear (sun) glasses You can brush the lower brow upwards with brow gel and darken it if you want to disguise more. I would not let it ruin a holiday.

Can you take someone with you demand your money back and go somewhere else to correct them.
Leave a review so no one goes to her for microblading .
I think we should all just do our own eyebrows tint and shape its easy I wouldn't trust anyone else .
They do them too dark like its same colour for everyone ..
Don't let this go she shouldn't get away with it.

I know it’s disappointing and she has done a bad job but the plus side is your brows are quite pale. So while they don’t look even, they aren’t sticking out obviously either. I wouldn’t let it ruin your holiday. It may be useful to try someone else who is skilled and get some advice. I was advised not to get them wet in the early days and stay out of the sun as both faded the colour drastically so it may be worth doing both of these things.

Completely see why you’re not happy the shapes are completely different. Agree with what others have said though I wouldn’t look twice in person and they are quite faint so easily covered.

Hi lovely! You're not exaggerating and whilst i can see why you are disappointed they arent awful.. nobody is going to say. Look at that woman's awful eyebrows.. they look ok. Please don't let it ruin your holiday! If you are near Bristol there is a wonderful lady who does them here. I always leave feeling amazing and she's done a few people i know with fantastic results. I can give you her details. Im sure she'd be able to go over these. Dont let the original woman touch you again x
