Removing microbladed eyebrows - URGENT

Has anyone had microbladed eyebrows removed? I had microblading done on Tuesday, and the brows are odd - one higher, arched, thin and light. The other is short, curved, dark and diferent altogether. I rang the salon the next morning and spoke with the woman who did it (she owns the salon). After a great deal of hostility from her, she asked me to go tomorrow morning ao that she can "sort it out". Googling it, it seems that the best method would be lasering, but I'm worried.

Where are you based? I know a decent PMU who also does removal.

Waterwaterwaterwaterwatercycle · 24/04/2026 21:26

Oh no, poor you!

She messed up your eyebrows and then shouted at you down the phone. I would not be letting her near my face again! Is there any way you can get your money back?

Your eyebrows are sisters not twins give them time to settle down and you'll feel different. I was horrified when I first had mine done now I love them

Yes without photos I think we can't say anymore

Did you not have them drawn on and shape agreed before the actual tattoo?

No. She asked what I wanted. I said no high arches or anything. She marked up my face with tape ( she was behind me whilst I was lying there). She didn't go in front of me at any time, to see if things were looking ok. I've been so naive.

Some sort of mapping like this should have happened

She didn't do that.

Did she not map them out and show you before she started work. This is where you would have agreed the actual shape was ok? Did you do your research beforehand as I feel you would have known that going on holiday 2 weeks after having your brows done would have been a big no no. Did you not look at this ladies previous work?

At the consultation, she showed me ONE photo. I asked the next day to see her portfolio, as she surely must have lots of photos. She said they were on FB. I checked and there were a FEW. I've been a twat, haven't I?

For your holiday, do you have some nice big sunglasses?

Yes, but I can't wear those every minute of the day and evening.

Just to offer my experience: I like mine but they totally disappeared after they’d completely healed and it took about 3 goes (I think) for them to ‘stick’(despite being dark brown). So they might not even show up in a few weeks. Not helpful now when they’ll be temporarily really obvious I realise.

£260

Bloody hell, for that money they ought to be perfect!

CeriseFlingo · 24/04/2026 22:18

Goodness me - when I got my eyebrows microbladed the technician spent nearly as long mapping them as she did performing the procedure. It took hours. She was mapping for at least 1.5 hours, if not longer.

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:28

The woman took exactly 1 hour. When I remarked that it was quick, she said she normally takes 20 minutes! I've been gullible.

I keep trying to post photos from my PC but don't know what I'm doing.

20 mins for something costing £260 is crazy.

Dancingintherain09 · 24/04/2026 22:34

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:07

She didn't do that.

She cut major corners. No wonder they aren't even my brow lady takes 15-30 minutes just marking out. Then gets me to check the shape before she starts. It's a part of the training as a qualified brow artist.
The full appointment is 90 minutes

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:35

I'm so depressed about them

Google Lorena Oberg. Don’t know how far you would have to travel to get to her clinic but it would be worth it.

I'm so sorry OP.
They are definitely not right. And without making them really thick it'll be differcult to match them without removal.

Wow, when I had powder brows I had one visit where she mapped and drew one to show me what they would be like and then went back for it to actually be done which took 1.5/2 hours.

I really feel for you. Even a refund isn’t sufficient though if you then have to spend time and money getting them fixed somehow.

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:39

Thanks. I'm nowhere near London. I'm on a state pension and can't afford to spend a lot of money.

Queenofheart · 24/04/2026 22:41

Awww sorry to see thst

not ideal but could you have your fringe trimmed and styled so it covers them

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:43

The photos are without any make-up - as you can see, bloody ugly - and now I'm so fed-up, I don't want to go out at all. Wish my holiday could be cancelled. Dreading going to that woman tomorrow, but I'll get a refund - and then what??

OP posts:
FenellaFeldman · 24/04/2026 22:43

Yes, the right one is definitely arched and higher than the left one. I'd go for a refund and see what someone else can sort.

TokyoSushi · 24/04/2026 22:44

So they’re definitely not right, but I think your saving grace here is that they’re not particularly dark, I bet you could make them look much better with some eyebrow pencil. Not what you set out to achieve, but all is not lost!

TryAndGetOutOfThat · 24/04/2026 22:44

She actually said on the 'phone "Well, you can wear make-up in a week". The whole point of having them done was not to have to faff about pencilling them on.

OP posts:
IloveJonBonJovi · 24/04/2026 22:44

I think you look fine. They aren’t really dark so no he is going to be staring at you. One if them looks nice actually. She if she can match it up for you.
