Removing microbladed eyebrows - URGENT

TryAndGetOutOfThat · Yesterday 15:26

Has anyone had microbladed eyebrows removed? I had microblading done on Tuesday, and the brows are odd - one higher, arched, thin and light. The other is short, curved, dark and diferent altogether. I rang the salon the next morning and spoke with the woman who did it (she owns the salon). After a great deal of hostility from her, she asked me to go tomorrow morning ao that she can "sort it out". Googling it, it seems that the best method would be lasering, but I'm worried.

Did she not marauders them out, mark out and let you check them first? Because if these steps were missed that is a big red flag.
I have mine done, I have feather brows very natural and very even. She let's me check them before she starts (the shape is marked out in white pencil.

What qualifications does this person have? Are they a medical professional with a registration or a beautician which has completed a 'course'? They may not even have a laser or other means of removing the ink! No advice I'm afraid but I wouldn't let her touch them and would write a factual review about her rude behaviour.

Some sort of mapping like this should have happened

Your eyebrows are sisters not twins give them time to settle down and you'll feel different. I was horrified when I first had mine done now I love them

😂

My friend had this issue and time is of the essence. There are places that can remove it and they essentially use the same process but then remove the ink. But there is a short window. I would check the lady whose done them does removal of them before returning to her x

She shouted at you?

I suppose it's sensible for her to see you in person before agreeing a refund

But I wouldn't let her do anything to your face. Go along and she should just look at you and do the refund in front of you.

HIYAitsRuth · Yesterday 18:35

Did she not map them out and show you before she started work. This is where you would have agreed the actual shape was ok? Did you do your research beforehand as I feel you would have known that going on holiday 2 weeks after having your brows done would have been a big no no. Did you not look at this ladies previous work?

Maybe post a pic. They may seem bad to you as getting used to them

but not be that bad iyswim

A good lesson not to mess about with your looks - you probably looked much better before embarking on these 'enhancements'! Why do people do these things - they invariably look false and cost a lot of money, Stay natural.

How is that helping?

FenellaFeldman · Yesterday 19:12

How much did it cost?

Maybe a salutary lesson for others?

For your holiday, do you have some nice big sunglasses?

MississippiCroc · Yesterday 19:29

Can you post a picture? Just your brows so it’s not outing!

DaisyChain505 · Yesterday 19:31

Any decent technician would have shown you the shape of the brows mapped out on your face in eyebrow pencil before the procedure took place so you could see exactly what they’d look like.

You need to give the brows time to settle. The colour can change and deepen whilst healing.

sun exposure so soon after micro blading is not advised.

How does this work pls.

It reduces the amount of ink the skin can hold.

driftingdownintomiami · Yesterday 19:36

It's probably not as bad as you think but a picture may reassure you. And go somewhere else to fix them, not back to her.

TheseWordsAreMine · Yesterday 19:38

This happend to me, but not the same problem.

When I was shown in the mirror all I could see were the eyebrows of a long retired colonel.

driftingdownintomiami · Yesterday 19:39

It's probably not as noticeable to other people. If you asked me which of my colleagues had microbladed eyebrows I wouldn't have a clue.

If it's done properly you can look loads better. But that's the risk.

GeorgeMichaelsMicStand · Yesterday 19:49

I had mine microbladed a couple of years ago and they were thin and wonky as fuck. She tried to make them fuller but I have to admit I used eyebrow pencil to make them the shape I wanted. Which kind of defeated the object…. But this is a possibility and they do fade with time

Changeusernameagainn · Yesterday 20:10

I would go and see someone else, definitely dont go back

Rhootintootinboo · Yesterday 20:26

This happened to me. I went back pretty quickly and had the arched bit scratched and then I think she did put saline on the scratches. It then scabbed and when I pulled the scab off the ink came out with it. So much better but wouldn’t go back to her again. I’d had them done somewhere before that and she was much better.

She only had her eyebrows done . She didn’t get a facelift or nose job for Gods sake . Have u never worn makeup ? , dyed your hair or used an eyebrow pencil ? It’s only a subtle cosmetic enhancement if it’s done properly .

Oh bless you. Another who thinks you need to be careful trying any home remedies given the risk of infection.
