Okay, I'm just savouring the process at the moment, spraying on tissue rather than skin.
I've had a sniff of the five Barrois samples, and the Elie Saab.
The Barrois fragrances are SO interesting.
Aldebaran is particularly drawing me in. It's incredibly evocative of Spain for some reason. Dry heat and savoury peppers. God it's amazing!!
B683 - a similar vibe, but sweeter.
Encelade - that rhubarb note is intriguing! Kind of sharp and savoury again.
Ganymede - if I hadn't sniffed the above first, I think I'd be more impressed. I like it, but it's slightly more mainstream than the others at first sniff.
Tilia - again, nice enough, but more mainstream. I like the honey element.
Elie Saab - not my thing at all! It's reminds me of the smell of rapeseed fields - it almost stings my nose / makes my eyes water / headache inducing.
