I need to try my perfume society samples but dont want to love something that I then a ridiculous price. 🤔🤣

@Doglover73 fear not - I would never have guessed it was super expensive. It's pleasant enough so far, but not blowing me away.

@IDontHateRainbows I've only sniffed CP on tissue so far, and haven't been rushing to try it on skin. I'm not really a fan of laundry type scents... Is it another pricey one? I'll go look...

I've decided that this one will be nice in summer, denim shorts, white tee kinda look 😁 I'm not sure if I can wear a laundry scent on its own though.

@NotTheFreudYoureLookingFor I really like that one, I'm not big on citrussy scents but I think it's got a softness about it. The drydown is beautiful too. And the bottle is so cute 😍

Probably but I find the 10ml size samples are ok to scratch the itch to try something unless i absolutely fall in love I don't crave the full bottle. In fact I have a ew full bottles where I have succumbed and they tend to gather dust on my shelf whilst I chase after the next new thing. I'm so fickle, full bottles are wasted on me but I enjoy the 10ml type size and it's easy enough to pick another one off ebay or vinted if it's come from a set.

Also on laundry scents who has tried Acne Studios, I have a sample from the SNK frag box in my limbo box (frags I haven't decided whether to sell or keep for personal use) and I seem to remember not particularly liking it when I tried it last year but my nose has changed a lot since then so I'm thinking to give it another try.

I like the acne studio. I find it comforting. 🥰

@IDontHateRainbows how do you find the mini dabbers on the Notino site? I find their site really confusing to navigate!

SOTD is Beauty Pie La Botanista, which is a very fresh, almost spiky green, like tomatoes in a greenhouse. They don't have many reviews on Fragrantica but I quite like them.

I was the same with FM acne studios. I quite like it now it's spring time though and I'm fancying cleaner scents. I think I'm the same with full size. I keep buying 10ml of whatever I like but sometimes by the time they've arrived, I'm onto the next thing 🙈

They must know me well as they came up in my feed but if you search for 'discovery box exclusive' - there are about 6 different sets the cheaper ones are like £17 for 3 but with dicount code 'for joy' it' takes a bit off.

So i tried the acne studios frederic malle. Hmmm, its alright but I don't love it. Just dont see the appeal of these laundry scents if im honest. Gonna sell it on ( as 'sprayed once')

I love the Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar so much. I’m looking at their other sets now. Has anyone tried the Eden set?

I've got all of them in one form or another. A couple of 10ml bottles and the others in 2ml samples. The Eden Apple started my fondness for Kayali a couple of years ago. I wore the peach one the other day which is nice and fruity as you would expect. Longevity is hit or miss on Kayali but that doesn't bother me too much.

The Yum Boujee Marshmallow is a really nice strawberry type scent - probably my favourite of the fruity ones. Sephora had the 10ml as a gold reward a few weeks back but I think it's oos now.

Where can you list and say sprayed once? X

There's a sort of code on ebay to get through the algorithm. Have to say 99% full as the censorbot will remove the listing otherwise.

Abel Laundry Day. Nice but doesnt last long on me. It wont last long x

SOTD is an old old fave, Givenchy III. I’ve loved it for decades and scored a bottle from eBay a few years ago. It’s just so reminiscent of when I was 17 and trying to be a grown up! I’m not sure I am yet, but I always feel quite pulled together when I wear it. Like I mean business! Not in a power-suit-shoulder pads way, just kinda capable.

It’s fitting the bill today because my inbox is mad and I need to bring some sanity and order to proceedings!!

Délices des Bois by Veronique Gabai. It’s a creamy fig and it’s gorgeous. Got it in a Liberty scent kit and then picked up 2 more on eBay. Needs topping up after 4-6hrs but I don’t mind.

Unlurking to ask if any of you lovely posters could tell me whether the Frederic Malle Carnal Flower 7ml in the Harvey Nicks Perfume Advent Calendar is a spray or a dabber please?

PDM Valaya Exclusif. I can't quite decide which I prefer this or normal valaya, both really good. This is more creamy and nutty probably better for winter months but still nice now.
