Delina exclusif for me. It's nice but not as wonderful as I remembered. Very powdery. I'm in the mood for something a bit more juicy and zingy today I think.

I’m away for a few days and apart from the bottle of Chypre #3 I always have in my bag I only brought Figue Amour with me but I am absolutely loving it! So green and woody, it’s right up my street!

Oooh, this is beautiful! Smells like the Rose Garden in my city! One of my favourite places to visit

SOTD Lancôme Idôle Peach'N Roses. I have no idea where I got this tiny sample; maybe Boots. It's quite light, mainly fruity, some rose, no depth whatsoever and I can't imagine why it took three perfumers to come up with it.

Not unpleasant, nice enough for a warm day and would definitely be office friendly, but it doesn't have enough about it to interest me.

Ah I have found my tribe...I am fairly new into perfumes but I love every bit of it lol

SOTD - Givenchy l'interdit intense which I absolutely adore. My new order of Granado Fervo Intenso just arrived and I live for it

Cant recall name. Will look later but lasts as an oil. Nice citrusy one. X

Bois Imperial by Essentia Parfums ( newish to John Lewis). Free sample in order which is a first. Fresh but warm and woody as well. I really like it but not long lasting.

Did anyone else get the Debenhams niche fragrance discovery set? I've been really enjoying it!

SOTD here is edeniste vetiver imaginaire, with a late day spritz of laboratory perfumes amber

SOTD has been creed Eladaria I do like this one but on me its very subtle but nice

Mine is out for delivery today - they take a while to send them but once they do I think they must use a 24 hour service.

JHAG Banana Rush today -then I remembered ..the bees. For those who didn't read this up thread there is something in the banana aromachemical that makes bees swarm, and it's the perfect sunny day for bees to be out. So I must wash it off before I go outside in the garden!!

I spent an hour or so “playing” in Harvey nicks (leeds) perfume hall - now convinced I need to dedicate a day to this

loved the fragrance du bois counter - interesting though I love sirene I don’t like the extrait version.

Will post later about it. For now, SOTD is laboratory perfumes Gorse... And I'm off for a run in the gorse bedecked hills 😁

SOTD is moschino toy 2 layered with discontinued M&S inspire. Very light and not over powering

Sotd is Stellar Times. Big beast of a scent for the end of the working week

SOTD is Liberty Tana Meadow from a 2ml sample. My sense of smell isn’t entirely back but it’s heavy on vanilla on me.

It’s warm and sunny here today so I decided it was summer and went for EL Bronze Goddess, from the LF fragrance advent. It’s a good scent but Next Summer Sun is identical, performs just as well on me and costs a fraction of the price.

Okay so I'm reporting on the Debenhams niche discovery set

Here's the blurb as per the website with my opinions tacked on:

"M.Micallef Delice Eau de Parfum 10ml (Deluxe Sample) A versatile, oriental blend of lemon, nutmeg and ambergris to bewitch the senses."

This one's interesting. I've only had a couple of sprays before bedtime, so didn't get to fully road test it. It confused me, in a good way. I haven't had any fragrance like it before. I started off thinking it was more overtly feminine leaning than my usual preferences, but changed my mind. It's got a sort of light spicy Parma violet vibe. It also comes in a dinky little bag.

Laboratory Perfumes Lifestyle Set (Full Size Discovery Set) 5 x 5ml Eau de Toilettes, including:
Amber x 2: don't know why they put two in their, but I'm glad. It starts off a bit green, but dries down into nice, round, slightly muscular fragrance.
Gorse: nice! A happy coconutty, fresh scent. Samphire: not so keen. It's got some more on there that I don't like. Kinda like dusty bad breath.
Tonka: strong dislike. Was expecting something warm and enveloping, perhaps a bit gourmand. But it was very strongly spicy, and kind of macho. Had to wash it off.

Really nice. Wearing it right now. DD21 said I smell nice. It's sort of warm and dark. Aptly named, I guess!

"Edeniste Vetiver Imaginaire 2ml (Sample) A fresh yet aromatic signature with nuances of grapefruit oil, jasmine and cedarwood."
LOVE this one. I actually bought a full bottle the first day of sampling it. It's got a "destress accord" which I originally marked down as pseudo scientific marketing bullshit, but it does have this lovely slightly musky but clean background that makes me huff my own cleavage/wrist. It reminds me of molecule 01, so I guess iso E super must be in their. It's really really lovely.

"Maison Matine 15ml Bain de Midi (Full Size) With notes of coconut, ylang ylang and musk for a sunny, amber-floral trail."

I initially felt a bit sneery at the description on Maison Matine's website. Thought it would be too young and peppy and "fun", but it's actually lovely.
