Bamford Woodland Moss for me today. It's fresh and herbal smelling, definitely unisex. DH has been eyeing it up but I've also been eyeing up his travel bottle of Herod by Parfums de Marly which dries down to a smoky vanilla....so we may be swapping scents a bit at the moment which is usually unheard of!

Miller Harris souffle. Lovely tobacco and chestnut. Miller Harris do a good deal of 4 x samples £10 with code free delivery. You also get a voucher towards a fb. Worth a punt.

Boy smells vanilla era today, maybe I am getting better as im liking it abd its definitely gourmand. An unusual one, vanilla with beetroot and coffee notes. Wasn't sure at first but it's a grower.

I sniffed Swimming Pool Bibi (fab for room scent but not something I want to wear and Liberty Tana Meadow - pretty scent, not a must have but I will take the sample with me when travelling.

My sense of smell is still iffy, maybe I did get another dose of covid. I LOVE Oribe Code dAzur but unfortunately I need 20 sprays to get me through the day - reapply needed every few hours. I will take my travel abroad to see if it lasts longer on hot weather.

I get the resemblance of Tana Meadow with the rare beaty perfume - but for some reason I prefer this one a lot more.

SOTD Byredo Blanche Absolu: this is a very clean-girl scent, reminds me a lot of the white Dove soap and laundry detergent. I don't get the laconic notes, but definitely powdery aldehydes and white musk. Feels like one where people wouldn't necessarily think you're wearing perfume, just smelling really clean.

that's the only Absolu form Byredo I like. I didn't like the original but this is very nice.

Actually drydown tana meadow is very much like rare beauty, I get it.

Ive also been spraying fig erotique, so definitely getting back into sweet / gourmand although this is quite a sophisticated and not over sweet scent. Fig + brown sugar, love it

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille = forgot how much I like this one, tangerine notes rather than amber but not in a sharp way, very soft and comforting.

Memo Odeon - this is a sweet honey rose. I wore it a bit too much when I first got it and went nose blind to it I think. Hadn't worn it in a few weeks so it's gone back to being its original loveliness.

Still enjoying the freshies but not craving the zing as I was so I must be slowly returning to normal!

Yesterday’s scent was Swiss Arabian Tonka oud. Heavy almond scent. Wore it to work and got a compliment!

My cult £10 fragrance voucher is working again. 🤣

Dragged myself out to thd shops today and found a new love- bdk impadia. This is a light, fruity rose, poss lychee. Delina fans may like it but its got more to it than og delina. Perfect for summer.

Ordered a little sample from Perfumista.

Impadia is gorgeous. It's been on my wish list for a while. I have a tiny amount left from a 2ml sample which I'm hanging on to.

You can buy 10ml now from bdk, but its cheaper at perfumista.

SOTD is Bastide Figue Amour. I’ve had this for ages and completely forgotten ignored it. Why did I do that?! It’s lovely! It’s fresh and woody, green, a bit herby. I absolutely love it!

Liberty 1875. Lovely and smoky but a bit heavy for today. Also, Miller Harris Tea Tonique which is very similar to Dear Polly and a bit more suited to spring.

Sotd Acqua Di Parma Buongiorno lovely but not very long lasting.
Got in cult samples for a fiver. Eventually used my £10 fragrance voucher for a ouai mist. St barts i think.
Ended up paying postage as would have needed to spend another £16 for free p and p. That's really shot up. X

Very similar to matiere vanilla on first spray. Not keen. Will see how it is later. Think id struggle washing it off 🙄🤣

Resisted the lure of Liberty, if they'd discounted on the fragrance edits I may have been interested in one of those but annoyingly they were excluded. Holding out now for a fragrance edit or beauty edit, didn't like the last one they did.

Abel laundry day today, so still on the citrussy ones although this is quite a mellow citrus with a creamy dry down.
