Back to M&S after a couple of years off for me this year, I don’t think that we have a thread already?

Usual rules apply, no spoilers before 7am, looking forward to tomorrow! 🎄

I already use the skin food lotion on my body and live it , so will try on my face. Probably add to my travel miniatures stock as a good size for mini breaks

RipePeach · 23/12/2025 07:56

I’m happy with this as I’ve wanted to try it for ages. I don’t think this brand has ever been in the calendar before so it’s nice to have something different.

Spink86 · 23/12/2025 08:12

I've been eyeing up today's for a while and never pulled the trigger! So looking forward to trying it out!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 23/12/2025 08:48

I don't get on with todays, I think my skin is too oily but its a good brand.

hollyblueivy · 23/12/2025 08:51

Anyone already finding anything a winner? I always wanted to try the Advanced Noght Repair but not sure I’d go out and buy it but may need more time.

surprised by the sleep body lotion, it’s so calming.

Snackpocket · 23/12/2025 09:13

I’ll probably use today’s as hand cream at night as I don’t have particularly dry skin but do have old lady hands! 😁

TeamToeBeans · 23/12/2025 09:24

I’ll definitely give today’s a try as I’ve got chronic dry patches at the moment.

Has anyone tried the Dr PawPaw blue lip balm, and think it smells odd? It sort of smells like old cooking oil.

catsnore · 23/12/2025 10:30

Ooo I like Weleda stuff 👏

I really like the shampoo and conditioner, the leave in conditioner, the Floral Street perfume, the l'Occitane hand cream but I use that already. Have tried the Estee Lauder serum but it's too soon to see a difference.

I have used the comb a lot!

Will buy again next year.

ThePoshUns · 23/12/2025 11:03

I like the nail varnish, the eye liner, the venting ( probably the best item for me), the cowshed products. Not sure if I’ll buy again next year.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 23/12/2025 11:53

I've really enjoyed it this year, there have been a few duds but I think that is to be expected.

I agree. I’ve liked the majority of it and it’s a great way to try some new stuff.

I'll probably buy it again

Snackpocket · 23/12/2025 13:41

Yeah I think on the whole it’s been good and something nice to open each day so I think I’ll treat myself again next year.

percypigss · 23/12/2025 14:38

I’ve really enjoyed it, got as a last minute discount and so glad I did.

bigTillyMint · 23/12/2025 15:16

I’ve been getting one for years now and I like opening something every day even if some things aren’t something I would choose - I can always pass them on!

NotPennysBoat · 23/12/2025 15:49

This is my first ever non-chocolate advent calendar, I bought it for myself and it has felt a real treat opening it up each day! I would definitely buy it again in future years, when people say they got it on offer/discount, was that because you left it late to buy? How much did you pay (if that’s ok to ask)?
I had decided early on that I was going to treat myself so I bought it the first day it came out (£60), because I was worried they would sell out! Should I have held my nerve for a better deal, do they usually sell out?

Newgirls · 23/12/2025 15:55

It’s been so lovely! I think even at £60 or more it’s great value. The stila pencil, moisturisers and shampoos alone would get to this price so it’s all been a bonus from then in.

lookonthebrightside0 · 23/12/2025 16:30

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this calendar as it wasn’t popular on the advent calendar thread. I paid £45 and yes there has been some things that weren’t great but I’ve really liked the shampoo and conditioner, so much so I’ve repurchased. Also really liked the floral street perfume. For the price I’m really happy.

Me too. I’m thinking I should hold off next year. Sod’s Law would have it that it would then sell out before I get mine 😳

BakeOffRewatch · 23/12/2025 16:52

The £45 price was a Sparks offer i think and not everyone had the over. £60 is £2.40 a day so I thought it was great value.

Snackpocket · 23/12/2025 17:10

I paid £45 as I got the sparks offer. I’m not sure I’d want to pay £60 though.

percypigss · 23/12/2025 18:35

I paid £45 with free delivery for the sparks offer.
I don’t think it generally gets a discount tho.

evilharpy · 23/12/2025 19:17

I got it before the Sparks offer but I don't think £60 was bad at all for what's in it.

TeamToeBeans · 24/12/2025 00:04

I paid £60, and whilst I think that’s ok for the contents, I’d definitely rather have paid less, and was quite peeved when I saw it on offer, as I don’t remember there being an offer last year (although I may be wrong). I’m very happy with some of the products, totally disinterested in others, but that’s part of the fun. I will likely try a different calendar next year.

I’ve just tried today’s Weleda product, and it’s great! Super thick, it’s actually difficult to apply all over, but I feel like it’ll help these stubborn dry patches I’m getting. It smells lovely too.

ThePoshUns · 24/12/2025 03:15

Yes it was more expensive this year, I think last year it was £45 and no qualifying purchase. I didn’t get a sparks offer and paid £60, which I’m not sure was great value as I think I’ll only use about half the products.
