Back to M&S after a couple of years off for me this year, I don’t think that we have a thread already?

Usual rules apply, no spoilers before 7am, looking forward to tomorrow! 🎄

I'm finding this year's calendar very dull. I don't think I'll purchase next year.

TokyoSushi · 12/12/2025 14:25

I agree that is has been a bit dull, but I've just looked at the picture of the contents again and there are still some nice things to come - keep the faith!

I don't mind the clip it is useful and seems ok

TheUsualChaos · 12/12/2025 15:08

Surely it's worth having a bag tucked away somewhere for charity bits and dropping it off next time you're in town? The clip can stay in it's box and they would sell it easily. Just such a shame to waste things.

TheUsualChaos · 12/12/2025 15:10

Well I have to say I'm pretty sold on the shampoo and conditioner, I haven't stopped touching my hair all day. Will definitely be buying to use when I want my hair to look half decent so I guess the calendar has done it's job there!

Newgirls · 12/12/2025 16:22

The clip is comfy which is nice as I haven’t liked these hair clips before. Colour is ok goes with anything.

This is my experience too 💪

TabbieMctatty · 12/12/2025 18:34

I'm a bit meh with the hair clip but it's always useful for sectioning off hair.

I'm finally going to use the hair mask tonight as I have the chance to wash my hair tomorrow AM instead of at night!

Hapagirl48 · 12/12/2025 18:45

It’s my day off today so I put the hair mask in, clipped up my hair and will wash out tonight!

monjmaintainer · 12/12/2025 22:53

I’ve just stuck on the hair mask too - then wash out tomorrow with the shampoo and conditioner. Clip is too chunky for my thin hair but I’ve really liked most days so far.

ThePoshUns · 13/12/2025 07:31

Today’s is no use to me, my hair is thick enough so will give to a friend.
They’ve gone heavy on the hair products this year.

HumBumBum · 13/12/2025 07:41

Love today’s, I already use it so handy to have a travel size

I agree - that’s 3 x items specifically for thin hair. I am lucky in that this is my hair type, so it’s great for me, but I would expect them to choose products that work for all or at least most. Similarly I would think best to avoid products specifically for either greasy or dry skin. Or have different versions of the whole calendar to purchase based on hair and skin type!

this does look great for me - will use it today after washing out the mask using the shampoo and conditioner.

evilharpy · 13/12/2025 08:23

My thin hair is looking forward to trying today's product.

I'm loving the shampoo and conditioner, especially the shampoo which I will definitely buy again.

sciaticafanatica · 13/12/2025 08:38

Love today’s item. Look forward to using it

RipePeach · 13/12/2025 08:48

Anything that makes my thin hair thicker is a hit for me!

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 13/12/2025 08:52

Another product I can’t use! I have curly hair and don’t use any silicones or sulphates on it.

Getting quite frustrated now, this is the fourth one, I don’t think I’d have bought this if I’d realised how many hair products were in it.

Had a Nuxe one last year which was lovely, I do love their products - actually discovered them through a previous year’s M&S calendar. Think I may go back to that next year.

TeamToeBeans · 13/12/2025 09:43

This is another product that I won’t use, so will pass that on. I think last year’s calendar was heavy on hair products too, which is why I almost didn’t buy this year’s.

I used the Estee Lauder serum last night, but I’m underwhelmed. That said, I haven’t looked in a mirror yet today, maybe it made me gorgeous overnight? I have my doubts, but I’ll report back if that’s the case.

Snackpocket · 13/12/2025 10:43

I’m happy with today’s item, just blow drying my hair after applying!

bigTillyMint · 13/12/2025 11:32

No good for my very thick hair, but I’ll pass it on to my friend

Scatterbugg · 13/12/2025 11:36

Also feeling a little disappointed it's so hair care heavy as I'm also curly haired. The bits can go into a beauty hamper for the next school raffle.

Would love some skin care to appear for a bit of variety

Chrysanthemum5 · 13/12/2025 12:29

My daughter will be delighted with this one so I will pass it to her. I think the calendar is quite often hair care heavy but having so many products for a specific hair type seems a bit pointless

Scatterbugg · 13/12/2025 12:42

Thanks, it's my first one so didn't realise it was usually mainly hair care. Still good fun though

ajandjjmum · 13/12/2025 12:46

I started using today's product earlier in the year, and it does make a difference to my hair. This as a travel size is perfect, so it's joining the shampoo and conditioner ready for my February trip.

teacoffeeorpassthegin · 13/12/2025 13:08

I think it’s always worth having a look at the products before buying. I did and felt there was enough I would use. I looked so long ago I can’t remember what was in it!!
