Back to M&S after a couple of years off for me this year, I don’t think that we have a thread already?

Usual rules apply, no spoilers before 7am, looking forward to tomorrow! 🎄

It never occurred to me to look in advance, I assumed that information wouldn’t be available. I am really enjoying surprise, mostly good quality treats every day, so I’d definitely look into getting a different advent calendar next year. I’ll keep an eye on the threads for recommendations next year.

I do like this little corner of MN, it’s new to me this year.

percypigss · 13/12/2025 14:18

I’m really enjoying this calendar this year.
I already had the boots skincare calendar, then got this with the sparks offer as an extra treat.
But tbf, I wouldn’t have got it at full price.

Scatterbugg · 13/12/2025 14:18

I think it did look but ages ago. So there must be some things I like coming up
Maybe it's just the order they are in the boxes as it's been almost 50% hair products
Or perhaps I didn't look after all!

Nocheezesforusmeeses · 13/12/2025 14:23

I have thick hair but I’ll still use these products. Why not?

suburburban · 13/12/2025 14:26

I really like the products. Such lovely treats and useful for holidays. Used to buy M&S calendar but stopped for a while

Chickenwing2 · 13/12/2025 15:03

I really hate the hair clip- I could get a prettier one for £1 in Primark. Second worst item so far (next to the comb.

I do have thin hair so will give the hair thickening stuff a go tomorrow & report back if it has any effect.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 13/12/2025 15:13

Tried the hair thickener today and I quite like it.

I think it’s always worth having a look at the products before buying. I did and felt there was enough I would use. I looked so long ago I can’t remember what was in it!!

I did the same and have also forgotten most of it, so each day is a surprise. I'm sure I wouldn't have bought it if it were all hair care though, so there must be more variety to come. Almost half the calendar still to go.

sciaticafanatica · 14/12/2025 08:07

Today’s will be chucked in my handbag and used

Nocheezesforusmeeses · 14/12/2025 08:17

I like today’s. It’s a much thinner consistency than their usual products so I’m actually able to get it out of the tube in mid December.
I like that it’s got multiple uses too.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 14/12/2025 08:28

Also like the consistency of todays.

evilharpy · 14/12/2025 08:35

Today's tastes exactly like a product I had in the distance past but I can't remember what. Possibly as far back as a Sindy cosmetics set or the make up that came with a Girls World type styling head.

I'll definitely use it, I use and like a tinted version of theirs already.

Snackpocket · 14/12/2025 09:03

Lip balm is always useful so happy with today’s. I’ve got various lip balms dotted around the house and in bags it will add to!

Scatterbugg · 14/12/2025 09:17

A win for me and nice handbag / pocket size

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 14/12/2025 09:43

I'm happy with everything so far. The clip is a bit 'utility' but useful enough - it'll go in the bathroom for non-hair wash showers. I have fine hair though, so it's been a winner for me. Not so good for anyone with loads of hair.

ThePoshUns · 14/12/2025 10:30

I must have about 4 dr pawpaw lip balms now

Fifty50Fifty · 14/12/2025 10:37

I have so many of these mini tubes (not this one though - minor panic that it would be blue tinted when I first opened the box!), none of them finished but in drawers and handbags all over the place.

TeamToeBeans · 14/12/2025 10:56

I’m about one who has a lip balm in every bag, pocket and drawer! Although a lot of them are under the sofa since DKitten decided they’re fun to play with. I like the consistency too, I don’t usually go for tube types as they’re often sticky, but this one isn’t.

TabbieMctatty · 14/12/2025 11:32

I like this one - handy for this time of year and my DDs are always swiping mine!

Me too- they are so cheap in Aldi I think. Todays is a bit meh for me

HolidayHattie · 14/12/2025 12:32

So it says lip and eye balm on the tube, but you are all just saying lip balm. My eyes are very sensitive at the moment and could really do with something soothing. Is this suitable or is it likely to irritate them more?

Snackpocket · 14/12/2025 13:25

I’ve just painted my nails with that polish. I like the colour but will see how well it lasts and if I even make it through the day! 😂

I did put it on a patch of dry skin on the side of my nose, quite close to my eye, and it was fine, but then I’m not usually sensitive to products. I don’t routinely use any kind of eye cream etc, so it’s really only going to be used as lip balm for me.

Spink86 · 14/12/2025 20:27

I used the paw paw on some really dry knuckles today as well as my lips and it worked well.
Clip is useless for me as I have a pixie cut but my 3 year old son has had fun using it as a grabber when playing!
I finally used the overnight hair mask last night. Seems to have done something but found the smell a bit overpowering when trying to sleep. I didn't notice it this morning so not sure if it wore off or if I had become nose blind!

cheesychipsontheoche · 14/12/2025 21:46

This feels like the new elasticizer - in every calendar
