I'm in the office today and bravely wearing vanilla haze. This is a different office to my usual one, I come here weekly and they dont yet know im a frag head... yet.

This is a vanilla with a bit of extra something, fruitiness I think.

Glad it finally arrived.
Mine may well have arrived in a while but as they couldn't even tell me when it would be despatched I gave up..plus id trekked to the actual store to get one.

Reading the trust pilot reviews, some horrible tales there of people being left weeks and months awaiting refunds, sent damaged/ empty products etc. Definitely swerving HN now.

Shame about HN I don’t know why I was expecting them to be better. Clearly not able to shift the perfume calendars.

neroli nasimba Crivelli from HN last year. No idea why i kept it- I hate it/ I like it/ hate it.

I might test a layer on it if anyone has any good ideas? Notes are neroli and leather- definitely more of the former for me.

Sotd maison margiela by the fireplace

I just bought lovenotes vanilla suede on my lunch break. This office is in a town center with perfume shop fragrance shop and boots all within minutes away. It was on offer 30ml + 10ml £32 and its a lovely scent, reminds me of gentle fluidity gold but an absolute fraction of the price!

SOTAfternoon: Ataratma Shakti Saffron 🧡 it's a gentle, warm, golden saffron scent. It’s soft but radiant, and a perfect blend of cosy and uplifting for a productive afternoon (hopefully) ✨ This one is actually my favourite from the set 😍

I love saffron, that's it, I'm cracking open one of the boxes, and I will gift the other as suggested by a PP.

SOTD is Shay & Blue Pineapple Ice. I hardly ever get fragrance compliments, but a couple of people have commented how lovely this one is. Maybe just a sign that it’s quite strong!

I'm sure it is lovely but I do find the stronger ones get more attention and no one's going to say 'what's that horrible smell' are they, well not most people. I still shudder at when I went to a serious work meeting where someone's job was in jeopardy and i'd overdone it with the tobacco vanille and a few people commented on it. I bet the scent would be forever tainted for that poor person now.

Had a little sniff session during lunch break. I tried vanilla orchid and juice commodity. As expected vanilla orchid is not for me, juicy is lovely juicy scent that I would be happy to get in set but not something I would buy. Escada does same type for less.

I bought small sample set from SpaceNK Nette NYC. I like that the samples are 3ml and it was not expensive

I'm getting buyers remorse with the vanilla suede, luckily I only tried the 10ml and ill probably sell the 30ml and get most of my money back. Glad it was not an expensive one! You're at the mercy of whoever is spraying you in boots as all the perfumes are locked away. Its a high crime area so no wonder. Liberty perfume lounge it ain't. And they sort of hover over you to make you make a decision.

Ah well brightened up my lunch hour at the time!

First impressions of Nette discovery set - great. 6 samples 3ml each for 26 euro.

The vaniĺla- cardamom vanilla tea - I like
Coco fleur - beachy scent that isn't too sunscreeny
Lemon puff initial sniff - it is fun, way less sweet than the name implies
Rose - fresh rose
Opening Night- not a night scent, fresh citrus daytime vibe
Pear jam - juicy fruity scent

I will probably try all on skin and see myself enjoying the samples. All samples should be 3ml

I wouldn't say it's must have, but initial impressions are good

Sticking with the Ataratma discovery box for this evening's scent, I've gone for smitam santal. It's sweet, warm, and a spicy wood-creamy blend of ginger, tuberose and sandalwood that promises comfort and calm, perfect as the rain falls and the candles glow🕯️✨ I wasn't sure about this one last week when I first smelt it, but I really like it now that I'm wearing it 😍

Oh wow, I’ve found my people! SOTD Oud Blanc by Van Cleef & Arples because it’s cold & damp where I am today. I’m rotating with Le Labo Thè Noir 29 at the moment, depending on the weather.

Velvet Aura for me again today. I am trying to resist buying more backup bottles

Ooh new thread! I’ve gone back to wulong cha today. This is the expensive, cool cousin of green tea in my opinion. A long lasting citrus which is hard to find. I don’t enjoy the intial spray cough fest but once it settles after a few seconds, this is probably one of my faves. I love tea, citrus and fig notes blended together. Works amazingly well in tropical climates

I bought Jo malone ginger biscuit winter edition in the airport. Yum.
It is going to be my December fragrance rather than wasting the same money on an advent calendar full of samples I won’t use.
I’m going to layer it with a fig one I have.

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille today, really nice for this time of year.
We get to see just how addicted to perfume I am this weekend as I am going away to stay with a friend who is very sensisitve and triggers her asthma so I have agreed not to wear any when I am there.

My hands have been getting bit itchy from over spraying so a chance for them to have a break too.

How the hell will I cope? Only joking - it's 2 days, I'll be fine.

I think it's my 3rd year having Ginger Biscuit bottle, starting from 9ml first, it is really fantastic November/December fragrance.

SOTD is By The Fireplace. I have a small dabber bottle 5ml I think? I’ve also got an unopened full size, I’m trying it out today to see if I want to keep it or sell.

I bought a perfume bundle from Vinted the other day, I was so tempted to ask the seller if they are a member of RHOBAC 😁

SOT Morning is Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk - lovely but a bit too sweet, it reminds me of afternoon delight. I took the TF tobacco vanille off following the last time I wore it to work, as it's a bit strong.

What does RH stands for? BAC would be beauty advent calendar I guess?

Tempted to try that as I'll be going past Selfridges today very soon in my way to work, not sure if they are open this early.

I lurk on the advent thread but it stands for real housewives of beauty advent calendars 😂
