Converse~ they have become a staple for me and can be picked up cheaper in the sales.

Clinique~ specifically their cleansing balm and DDML

Ultraviolet -specifically their tinted SPF 50
which I wear with bronzer on the top.

Aussie leave in conditioning spray-
perfect for taming my hair on a morning

Longchamp le Pliage bags-I have been buying these for 15 plus years and they are perfect for shopping trips, trips to the gym
and small and short breaks away.

Mulberry bags of old, my Bayswater
from the days when they were at the height of their popularity were fantastic quality.

Yes to the Longchamp Le Pliage!

Cappuccino5 · 12/10/2025 14:46

I adore Ultraviolette! I use the same one as you (future fluid) and it is genuinely the first SPF I’ve ever enjoyed wearing. Doesn’t break me out, so light on your skin and gives such a lovely glow. Discovered it whilst on holiday in Australia last year and it has been a game changer.

I’m also a Longchamp Le Pliage devotee - been using them for over 10 years🙈 Easy to style, relatively affordable and very spacious

I swear by Aveda’s Shampowder dry shampoo. So much better than the aerosol alternatives

Diggetydawg · 12/10/2025 14:48

Levis. I've replaced all of my jeans with them as they're so much better than my M&S/Next/New Look jeans that I used to buy.

Adidas trainers are super comfy and last too.

SisterTeatime · 12/10/2025 14:49

I’m not slavish over anything, but Birkenstock have never let me down.

Mac lipliner. everything else I buy is cheaper end, but the lipliner I would always get from Mac. Nice and creamy and lasted over a year of almost daily use.

MaskAndMartini · 12/10/2025 15:37

Mother and Frame jeans
Jones Road make up.

MissKittyFantastico84 · 12/10/2025 15:43

L’Occitane Overnight Reset Serum (and if I have the money, their Immortelle Divine moisturiser). I can see a genuine difference in my skin when I don’t use the serum for a while.

Medik8 retinal.

Not a brand but I always buy real leather shoes. Cheap shoes are a false economy. Leather bags are worth my money too. ☺️

IsItTheBlackOneOrTheRedOne · 12/10/2025 15:45

Lancôme concealer evens out the tone of my ageing face better than anything else out there.

Ap42 · 12/10/2025 15:50

I used to love my converse until I had my children and put on weight. My feet wasn't as dainty as what they once were. For that reason I now live in Vans. So wide and comfy.
Also clinque for very sensitive skin.
My dock and bay beach bag and towel. Love them both!
Joules is still a fav of mine in terms of quality clothing.

veryvanessa · 12/10/2025 18:43

Liz Earle moisturiser

henlake7 · 12/10/2025 19:03

I love Converse and they are such a classic I feel they are worth it.
Also Joanie Clothing pieces. I know it's a marmite brand but I love the quality and if there is something I absolutely love I will buy full price (although ideally I prefer to shop sales and Vinted!).

Problemhooves · 12/10/2025 19:06

Per my username, I have awkward feet! I have to wear properly supportive, cushioned shoes or I suffer the consequences.

Also Paula's Choice BHA and a decent spf

WoolerOwl · 12/10/2025 19:20

Mulberry.
Nope, that’s it - bit of a shopping tart really, not much brand loyalty I’m afraid!

Cantonet · 12/10/2025 23:06

Oofos flipflops & mules.
Clinique skincare, foundation & chubby sticks.
Eyeko mascara.
Cerave oil cleanser.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Medium pencil & lipstick.
Boody bras.
Muji pure cotton scoop neck t shirts.
Brora lace edge thermals.
Zara white deep scoop pure cotton vest tops.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 12/10/2025 23:12

Rodial bronze highlighter, concealer and glow primer. They make my skin look amazing.

Percy and Reed hair primer. No frizz at all, but light as a feather.

Le Labo perfumes.

Lululemon leggings. I finally caved and bought a pair and it pains me to say that they are brilliant.

Protected Species rainwear.

Proper wool jumpers instead of acrylic. NavyGrey, Finisterre and Toast are good brands, and their knits will last forever.
