Converse~ they have become a staple for me and can be picked up cheaper in the sales.

Clinique~ specifically their cleansing balm and DDML

Ultraviolet -specifically their tinted SPF 50
which I wear with bronzer on the top.

Aussie leave in conditioning spray-
perfect for taming my hair on a morning

Longchamp le Pliage bags-I have been buying these for 15 plus years and they are perfect for shopping trips, trips to the gym
and small and short breaks away.

Mulberry bags of old, my Bayswater
from the days when they were at the height of their popularity were fantastic quality.

Erborian
Eucerin day cream with 5% urea - nothing like it.
Petit Bateau t-shirts.
Artisan Parfumeur perfumes. They have discontinued my favourite so some day I will have to wear another one. Meanwhile there is E-bay.
Amazing thermal tights by Calzedonia that look sheer but are as warm as leggings.
Le pliage - I bought a weekend bag in 1999 that still looks perfect.

Oh can I have the tights link please?! Love their tights but they have so many options - I want to get these exact winners you have!!!

Proudestmumofone1 · 27/10/2025 17:52

@Britpopbaby thanks for costing me a fortune with this thread… MN recommendation means it’s a must have 😬🩷

Although I feel justified when I see my current favourites being mentioned too so safety in numbers maybe?!!

Elizabeth Arden ceramide capsules and also the intensive night moisturizer

Nars blusher

Design Essentials avocado and almond curl mousse

Davines curl serum

Cicaplast B6 moisturizer

Cos -- tailored trousers

Celtic and Co merino jumpers

Celtic & co. sheepskin boots, especially my lovely house boots.

They have a repair service, too.

Holo Taco, Orly, ILNP and Zoya. Used to hate painting my nails, took forever to dry and would chip and bubble. Using cheaper brands clearly didn't work for me, slightly higher price point but they're brilliant brands and they do work for me.

Hush Puppy boots,they are indestructible.
Marks and Spencer knickers
Radley bags, fantastic quality and made in the UK.

M and S knickers are terrible quality now. Badly made, weird shapes, cheap material.

DIL was thrilled by her Celtic and co sheepskin slippers. I usually buy her UGG that last months before falling apart. These are much warmer with better stitching and soles.

Oh, also All saints jeans
And Wolford opaque tights - definitely worth the outlay, million times better than M&S and last

Anndalouzier · 13/02/2026 07:30

Le plate bags.

mumsy shopper

GustyGoo · 13/02/2026 08:49

Guerlain, mainly for its powders and bronzers, particularly the meteorites pearls - really expensive but just coming to the end of my (really beautiful looking) pot now, after 2 + years. They weirdly manage to mattify as well as making you appear dewy and lit up.

HighStreetOtter · 13/02/2026 08:52

I’m gutted to read that about Russell & Bromley I had no idea 😞 I’m not sure belonging to the Next group bodes particularly well either?

wolford tights? I have always looked at the ridiculous price of them and would never buy in a million years! I think the last time I looked they were about £100?!
