@Willow742 I've always found their customer service to be excellent but I've never had to return anything.

@Willow742 I've had good experiences with CS as well, but I do find their online offering fairly basic - it definitely feels like something just dispatched from a warehouse via Amazon rather than being from a luxury department store brand so with tissue paper and a bag. I only tend to shop with them because of the free delivery and points!

Thanks both, the customer service was great once I got in touch, it seemed more like their general logistics were a little off 😊 I'll have to make sure I keep good track of what I order/return to make sure everything has been processed accurately

I emailed about my missing October box and they are sending a replacement. I'm not impressed that I had to chase it but let's see how it goes in the future.

Had a reminder my voucher for last years dodgy candle was running out, I thought I’d used it months ago, added a loyalty voucher that also needed using and got some concealer and lippy ordered.

What on earth was that retinol from the most recent beauty box? I used it for the first time yesterday. I put it on the back of my hand and the smell was so gut-wrenching awful I could still smell it hours later after washing my hands. It smelt like cow glue. I wonder if it had gone off and I should have used it in October? I have binned it.

@Lovelysheep The retinol was Augustinus Bader. I use it and am normally quite sensitive to smells and this one doesn’t strike me as having a strong smell so maybe it was off.

I’ve had this with Bader, a really stinky Rich Cream that was off.

How odd! Such a shame, it’s now landfill, but also I’m unlikely to buy any of their products.

I’ve got a Skin Rocks retinol serum which is quite difficult on the nose…I’m slowly working through it as I only use it a couple of days a week. But it’s quite…medicinal.

Omg I’d forgotten all about that!! I’ll get onto it tonight. What was the deal? Did they send a voucher or a code or something?

@alondonerabroad it was a voucher in an email. Mine had to be used by the 18/12, they sent a reminder email last Wednesday so it was easy to retrieve the code.

When is the next box due? I think I am going to cancel my subscription after I get it.

For the first time in forever I've got credit building up in my account and I'm itching for a new beauty kit.
When do you think the next one will be launched?
I'd like to think this month, but realistically think maybe February?

There’s been a Valentine’s day kit in past years

The last 2 years they have done a hall of fame kit in early January, it's usually quite an expensive one but with lots of full sizes. I saw them instore and they were way more impressive than expected/looked online.

Does anyone know when the January loyalty vouchers get sent out?

@bendybusbuggy1 I'd forgotten about the loyalty vouchers, I think around the 5th January?

@bendybusbuggy1 has your Loyalty voucher arrived yet? I checked my emails and in the past it has been emailed within the first three days of each month - October was on the 1st - I'm assuming it's delayed because of the New Year, but mine has yet to arrive.

Me too! I have quite a bit now, £100 between beauty credit and loyalty. Intention still is to blind buy the AC this year. But I’m also going to buy more makeup edits as I enjoy trying new makeup even thought I don’t use it much - whereas with skincare I like sticking to what I love, even though I use a lot of skincare and body and the edits should be more value for me.

I quite like summer holiday/ travel edits too.
