@pinkchampagne1 I also joined at around the same time and haven’t had my box. I messaged CS but they just sent a standard response. If it doesn’t come this week I’ll call them

I joined the BD 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received my box. Does it usually take this long?

Mine only took 2 weeks from signing up to receive it 😕

pinkchampagne1 · 08/11/2025 18:16

It does seem to be taking a while. I think I will contact them in the week.

legosnowqueen · 08/11/2025 18:43

@pinkchampagne1i also joined 3 weeks ago & haven’t received mine either…

QueefofSheena · 11/11/2025 15:59

I replied to the standard email I got back about my box not arriving to ask when I could expect it. They came straight back and said they’d send one out. It’s supposed to be coming today

2025istheyeari · 11/11/2025 17:29

Just had an email, up to 30% off at Liberty for beauty drop members. Doesn’t apply to advent calendar ( thankfully!) but eg 20% off hourglass palettes

eta not for beauty drop, it’s their event before Christmas and on lots of things, not just beauty.

pinkchampagne1 · 12/11/2025 06:51

Interesting to hear that others who joined a similar time to me also haven’t received their beauty box. It has been way over 3 weeks now so I will try to contact them later.

I joined on 22 October and I got my first box last week, so guess there is an issue.

When I got the perfume from Liberty I did it with a gift card from Top Cashback which got me some cashback. And I also got cashback for clicking through which was £12ish. It was paid even though I paid with gift card which T&Cs excluded. So if anyone's buying using their vouchers or gift cards worth a shot.

Edited

Just retailers being weird again putting the price of everything up then discounting everything so why put it up in the first place?

I don’t think it is. Liberty beauty prices are comparable with other retailers.

Disappointing news for anyone living in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man and signed up to the Beauty Drop as they have just emailed to say they will no longer let us use our credit to for any purchases to be sent to our home addresses. We can use it in store or get it sent to a mainland UK address.
Here’s what was sent to me: ‘We are aware of a technical issue involving The Beauty Drop that allows a very small number of customers outside of the United Kingdom to sign up - specifically this impacts customers with shipping addresses in The Channel Islands and The Isle of Man with U.K. postcode prefixes JE, GY & IM.

Unfortunately, Beauty Drop credit can only be used for purchases being delivered to a U.K. address, this is due to a technical limitation at checkout on our website and is not linked to our ability or otherwise to deliver post to your address. Liberty can and does deliver to these postcodes but we are not able to accept Beauty Drop credit as payment for deliveries to these locations.

Consequently, we have had to include this restriction in our service; the credit you accumalate each month can still be redeemed in our London store or for an online order being delivered to a U.K. address. Can you therefore please let me know bu return if you would like to continue with this restriction in place or cancel your subscription with immediate effect.’

Very disappointing as I’ve been a member for many years and have used it to save for my advent each year.

Addictedtobeauty · 17/11/2025 19:28

That makes no sense; surely the resolution is to fix the ‘technical limitation’ not withdraws the service. Absolutely batshit.

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 19:39

And I’ve only been given 5 days to decide or they will automatically cancel!!

Agree. It sounds really weird. Sorry you've been put in this position @nearly61

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 19:49

I’m really far more upset than I ought to be- I realize it’s a first world problem but I loved saving for my advent through the year and would buy myself one of the kits as an occasional pick me up. Not a nice email to get

BIossomtoes · 17/11/2025 19:52

Are they going to refund your credit @nearly61? I agree with the others that they should solve the issue instead of binning you off.

IDontHateRainbows · 17/11/2025 20:00

BIossomtoes · 17/11/2025 13:13

I don’t think it is. Liberty beauty prices are comparable with other retailers.

What i'm saying is, retailers in general are putting the price of everything up, cos inflation, then discounting all the time, cos no one can afford them. Liberty are no different to anyone else!

I'd be upset too. I'm struggling to understand what the technical issues are suddenly if it's been working fine for a number of years and postage isn't a problem.

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 20:11

@Blossomtoes they’ve neatly messaged just after I spent the remaining credit so I guess the 5 days ‘deadline’ is because they must be about to take the next payment

BakeOffRewatch · 17/11/2025 20:18

That’s rubbish @nearly61 , sorry they sent you this change. I agree it sounds weird but then I had that whole coat listed as a completely different item palaver, their website function seems totally broken. So you’ve bought your AC before with BD credit ? They’re just stopping it now?

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 20:18

@OvaHere it’s really so odd! They’ve been very happy (and so have I!) for years and suddenly don’t want to know. Grr. I’ve emailed to ask if they will still send the beauty box or is that now a problem too. I think since he mentioned ‘a very small number’ of people affected then I’m not over hopeful of any help from him at all.

Skibunnygal · 17/11/2025 20:20

I think what id be tempted to do if I was affected by the "island embargo" would be to open a regular savings account, where you would gain interest. Put the £25 per month in there. And if you liked the contents of the quarterly box, pick one up on ebay.

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 20:23

@BakeOffRewatch yes for the last few years (2..3?) plus the scent kits etc. no issues at all. Then suddenly it seems I shouldn’t have been able to sign up and they are pulling the plug on letting me spend my credit if I carry on. I’m not actually clear if they will still send me the boxes and are just going to not send any credit bought purchases so I’ve emailed to ask as it might be that they won’t send those either.

nearly61 · 17/11/2025 20:25

@Skibunnygal thats a very good idea for the boxes and I might have to resort to that. The advent and kits though would become a problem as the last time I checked they are trying to charge £15 delivery to here. Cheaper to use RM!
