Hi guys - yes, the end of summer sale has floated around a bit recently - thanks for your thoughts. If I am remembering correctly, last year’s was only for a few days.

I think there was one of those 4 day sales at the end of September and then nothing until the sale after last posting date in December. I love a Toast sale but don’t think will be anything I’m after in the September sale. Never say never though!

I placed an order on Saturday and paid for next day delivery as I am going away on Wednesday. Just wondered a while ago why I hadn’t got a dispatch email, and then discovered it is a bank holiday today in England/Wales/N Ireland. It isn’t in Scotland, so I didn’t realise. So my parcel will arrive on Wednesday, when I have already left. 🤦‍♀️

I have been looking at the new items on Toast's website today - not that I really need anything after having bought way to many trousers, tops, dresses, and sweaters in the last sale...
But - it looks like Toast has stopped writing the actual garment measurements on the website, which is quite annoying. I was so happy about the change back when they started writing that. Having measurements quite a bit above the standard XL, it really helped to assess if I could actually fit into the tops and dresses.

@BettinaInDenmark that is a shame about sizing. I do about 95%of toast shopping on line so really useful. My last order was the pumpkin cashmere wrap and Kate Sheridan tote in sand, so did not need sizes. The website isn’t loading for me at the moment so can’t check.

@Primrosespaw I really like the look of the Kate Sheridan tote for work. Looks so lovely and lightweight but also sturdy 😁

@mizu It is a lovely bag. I have the other colour way already but have completely wrecked it by riding my bike and getting it covered in oil. It has been relegated to a shed bag to store things in. Looking forward to the sand colour arriving and not wrecking it!
It is a really good size, nice to be able to use the poppers to make it smaller when needed. Very simple and lovely.

@BettinaInDenmark website is loading for me and can see size charts. Maybe it is on some items only?

I think there are some items that don’t have the measurements, I have definitely noticed a few over the last few weeks. But the majority seem to have them still.
I have to say that I am finding sizing more reliable and predictable in the last few drops. Almost everything I have bought has been the same size. I don’t know if others are finding it better than in the past?

Yes, just had a look. I want the cord trousers in that rusty orange. Also the short boiled wool coat, gorgeous!

Obsessed with the rich chocolate colours in this drop. Cord trousers and jacket coord, plus wool trousers and my gosh the brown wool coat! And even brown tretorn wellies : )
I shall start a new wish list seeing as the old one is gone. All brown!

I’ve ordered the two blue cord shirts as I couldn’t decide which I preferred, also the the blue barrel leg cords, and the cotton seersucker skirt from the last drop.

Very nice new drop. I have ordered the rusty Baya shirt and black cord gabi’s. I really want that super expensive brown coat but it would have to be a sale buy. I think i prefer Toast winter to summer drops.

Not a lot of interest in the new drop for me apart from the cotton cashmere shirt and the cotton rollneck tees - has anyone ever tried one of these?
A lot of cord, and I am not a fan of cord at all, I find the feel quite unpleasant although it is lovely to look at.
I like the Donegal yoke sweater in the graphite colour, but that shape/yoke pattern placement has not worked for me in past seasons so it’s probably a no.

I love the brown Tretorn boots as well, and the new tall Blundstones. I don't need any boots though. I am definitely putting that brown cord patch pocket jacket on my wishlist!

I quite like the Dianthus print, but the Bryn dress has the tie neckline which I dislike. Might try the shirt. The prices are steep now, £215 for the dress. Will have a proper look tomorrow.

Oh dear, I love brown and corduroy, so now I’m scared to look

@MiracleToast I'm glad you mentioned footwear, jogged my memory! I saved the green Stirlini boots back into the void Wishlist, and added those gorgeous tall brown Blundstone boots for company.

The Lapped Wool dress is stunning but £475
The Boiled Wool skirt lovely but £345

I can't remember if dismissed the Barrell leg cords as being a cord pair too many or a bit thin last year
I could spend an awful lot in 5 minutes , had better ponder, stalk and whittle it down .

@Poplinskirt and @Primrosespaw - the info I am missing is not the size charts themselves, but the actual garment measurements, which used to be in the size charts. Maybe they will emerge after a while. I hope so ;)
