The reviews seem to have gone as well, I think this has happened before so hopefully they will be able to restore everything from a backup.

I've just tried to place an order but my basket keeps disapppearing,,,,problems obviously continuing with the website

Sounding a lot like a sale is coming ……

My wishlist has gone too🙀

Do we think Toast have realised that their last sale was so dismal, we need another, better one straightaway? 😹😹😹

Just had a look under Events / there’s a store wide event 30/8 but to get the free gift, (no discount), you have to spend £150+ 🙀

Btw: Didn’t we get a Kindred gift in July last year, or did I imagine it?

I placed my order once the website started working again - no mention of a gift!

I did notice that all the reviews has disappeared from the site

Interesting @IlovePond Good though that it’s a gift for “everyone”. I was also wondering about the kindred gift as it seems one is due.

Hi @faustina - sorry I wasn’t clear - the free socks thing is in store on 30/8. It’s got a weird name that’s escaping me atm.

If I can’t have a sale @MiracleToast then I definitely want a Kindred gift!

@IlovePond - it was more in hope than expectation 😁 Also I didn't spend that much. I bought the beautiful washing basket which had been on my Wishlist for so long They sold out and said they weren't restocking but luckily they did, because I searched everywhere for one as nice and never found it!

It is very nice @faustina - it’s always nice when you get something you thought you’d missed.

Thinking of laundry: I still use an ancient wicker basket that I bought as a student. I bought it on a trip home with my friend, we dragged it and a roll of carpet, (why?) back on the train and then took it for a curry before it landed in my student accommodation. It’s been all round the country with me ever since. It’s one of those things that has always been there and probably always will 😹 but if I was retiring it, that Toast one would definitely be in the running!

@IlovePond - I'm retiring my wicker basket which I think must be nearly 20 years old. It's great but the bottom has almost fallen off. Considering the work it's put in and the length of service, it really deserves a gold watch or something!

@faustina 😹 - it’s strange how some household items just sort of stay around forever!

@IlovePond - love the idea of you taking your laundry basket for a curry!

It had its own chair and everything 😹 - funny the things you remember. I was sad to lose contact with that friend - it was so much harder to keep in touch pre-internet!

There was an instagram post this morning advertising a live at 1pm today. Did anyone see it? The link just brings you to the general live page and it doesn’t seem to be on there. 🤷‍♀️

I made it to the Harrogate shop a couple of times this week (a bit of an achievement, seeing as I live in Aberdeen!) and am now mulling over buying the Space dyed Wrap Skirt .

It is made of gorgeous, very heavy fabric but its quite expensive at £265 and I think with the colour and pattern I might tire of it quickly. I didn’t buy it in store as it, along with most of the few things they had left on the rails it was rather the worse for wear, with pulled threads and stains.

Some of the pottery was lovely and the member of staff I spoke to said they were waiting for the main Autumn drop to arrive in September.

@AThousandCaloriesToTheBad I saw that skirt in the Notting Hill TOAST when I was in London last week. Gorgeous but yes, blooming pricey.

I had the loveliest shopping session in the Brighton shop today. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Although it’s nearly autumn, I bought a couple of summer pieces - a blue linen v neck top and a long blue linen sleeveless dress. I also picked up the seersucker cotton shirt, which is delicious, the spotted carapace green scarf and the Lia boat neck tee in honey. Quite a shopping session but we have no Toast shop near us. Hopefully my new summer things won’t pop up in the sale!

I also had a good try on of other garments, should I need to order workwear later in the season. I have a good idea of sizes now (my waistline is suffering due to my preventative cancer treatment drugs).

Would it be completely insane to go to Wales just for the sample sale?
