Oliver Bonas has seduced me

I have sold one hundred items on Vinted this month as part of my major declutter prior to a planned house move! I have gone down 2 dress sizes so lots of things no longer fit.

I’ve bought this pink dress from Tu. I was undecided about it as the top half is a bit short in the body for me. I was going to send it back but the bottom half is lovely and rustly and has pockets - I think I may adapt it into a skirt.

After not buying anything for months I ordered this Merino dress and a long sleeved top for winter in the same colour.

I really like the olive. I live in merino long sleeved tops like that under jumpers/cardigans in the winter.

And I have lots of their dresses in this kind of style but they are all a merino/tencel blend and sleeveless, which I live in in summer. I like the 100% merino of the olive and slightly more coverage on the sleeves in this one.

I'd actually had my eye on it for a while and when the sale email arrived this morning I couldn't resist!

Wow! That's amazing. I sold 9 items on Thursday/Friday and thought I was doing well.

I've made £749 on eBay this year. Not sure I can cope with learning the rules on Vinted too. Plus, i won't sell anything for less than £5. It's not worth posting a parcel for less than that. But those are amazing numbers @Princessfluffy. Very well done on the weight loss too.

What are you all wearing in 32°?.
I'm living in Muslin shorts co ords. Or as ds1 calls them my baby gro's. You can always rely on your kids to tell you what's what ☺️

Yes, teen and young adult children are not always very tactful! It's so hot, went for an hour an a half walk early this morning and now in the house with the curtains and windows closed. Wearing my Icebreaker merino tencel tank dresses mostly. This one today.

Sadly, my mum passed away about 18 months ago and whilst we cleared some of her belongings immediately, my dad found it difficult. He's now ready to let things go so I went over on Thursday and came back with 4 bags for life, full to the brim (there are 5 padded gilets for a start), and posted about 20 items quite quickly.

I also sold a pair of evening trousers which came with a dinner jacket for DS. I only wanted the jacket, his existing trousers were new and still fit, so am delighted to have sold the surplus on the same day for a fiver 😆

I’m impressed by everyone’s selling prowess. It’s something I mean to do but never get around to. @Cyclingmummy1 it’s five years this week since my Dad died and I still haven’t finished sorting his clothes. It’s not easy.

I’m wearing a very thin and floaty cotton tiered dress from M&S a few years ago. It’s probably the lightest thing I own. I am not wearing any underwear. Good job there’s no breeze.

I have an ongoing challenge with myself on there. Last year I achieved 50 items a month every month, this year I've reduced my target to 30 a month and I'm on track so far.

The question I get asked is how haven't you ran out of stuff yet? I feel like others on this thread will understand when I say I could do this for a long time and not run out 😁

My gosh @anon2022anon that's an amazing number of sales. Do you buy a lot on Vinted & then sell them on when you're bored?
I've mainly been selling items that's too big for me now & vintage Monsoon dresses/skirts. As they're a little too girly for me these days. I'm trying not to stock up again but as a former excessive shopper it's hard....
I've returned many of my sale purchases but did buy a couple of Muslin shirts heavily reduced in autumnal colours of Rust & Khaki. Ideal in a mild autumn & they suit my soft autumn colouring.

@Cantonet yep! And my nearly 6 year old was a lockdown baby, who grows at a stupidly fast rate (as tall as an 8 year old), so I got my dopamine during lockdowns but getting into scandi kids clothes. An expensive hobby, but sells okay on Vinted. That, plus working in Zara for a lot of years, and going from a size 10 to 14 means a lot of stuff that just got stuck in boxes and storage bags.

This weekends task is wedding decorations up on Vinted/ Facebook, before Oasis on Sunday 😍 no point doing an outfit for that, as it's due to be thunderstorms most of the day 😭

I'm running out of things to sell on Vinted now but have had a good run this week, another 15 or so items.

I've spent the week in the hospital waiting for ds's surgery. So Interminably draining ...
But I have worn my new pink Zara trousers a few times & found them relatively easy to wear. Plus they cheered me up.

i noticed in Wherinng today that someone has styled 3 outfits for me!!!!! Not combos I would have made myself and I do love them. The third one will be quite different to my usual style.

Help me answer this Conundrum : Is it wrong to really want this ruffle skirt?😳
It's in pure cotton but I already have a Uniqlo white cotton tiered skirt which fits beautifully ( but has a synthetic sweaty lining) and a lovely cream lace column skirt - again synthetic but very pretty.
