Struck by this ad that appeared on FB this morning and not in a good way 😂

I would say exactly the same for you creating your rather nasty thread. Except in the other 2 cases where I contacted companies the sites were scams so there was a point.

@IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle it's a shame you have interpreted this as a nasty thread. My original beef if I can call it that was the hideous clothing and the price of it and the fact that people are taken in by big names.
At no point did I mention the woman/ the man/ his or her size/ the make up/ her lashes / his or her age their personality ( looks like a fun person etc. it's not a dating app 😂) All of those things were mentioned by other posters. ! It's been revealing. It's like a mindfulness seminar I participated in once - it was about different people's reactions to seeing a friend on the other side of the road who doesn't acknowledge you - why? The variety of answers was amazing and of course driven by an individual's experience. Most were negative and usually based on something negative about the person themself ( as opposed to the friend).
I wasn't trying to create contention. After all it's a cardigan and knitted skirt. Yes many of the responses were as I thought and indeed yours coming back as if I have smothered puppies makes me wonder why YOU have to have a repeated go at me about this. It makes me wonder why. Maybe you wear this skirt and cardi. 😂

The actual pic could be a bit more flattering but I like that they're using some quirkier models. It's almost a big drag esque, the level of makeup. That must've been intentional. Maybe she's meant to be the 'nutty auntie' on a Christmas family portrait, gone rogue? It's got humour and warmth to it so I don't really hate it. I guess I wouldn't buy any of the stuff in the pic. Even though I'm probably closest to the 'nutty auntie' character in my own family!

From what I can see of it I actually really like the cardie...and the skirt. Great colours and patterns and it looks super cosy for winter.
But then Im a middle aged woman who tends to dress abit 'oddly' and doesnt give a shit what anybody thinks...its def my demographic!LOL

It's very easy to check if an ad on Facebook is real or not: go to the official page of the brand, About > Page Transparency - which will tell you if the page is running ads > See All. That will open a pop up and if you scroll to the bottom, it will take you to the ad library for the brand. The OP's advert is the top one and, as stated by @Specific, started running on the 22nd Nov. Hope it helps!
