We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Not at the moment. I think I bought it last year or it might have been the year before. I have used most of it but decided on a cheaper one this year.

The 15% off is capped at £15 still decent but not as decent as 15% off the full price would be.

@alwaysfretting there's a Grumm calendar ? Any links ? Have never tried them but they look good ?

Space NK 303 ml + candle, average rating per ml 4.2
However, the body mist is messing up things little. If we reduce the body mist from 88ml to 22 to try to be fair to perfumes, it is 237ml and rating comes down to 4.01 I think that's more fair number. Note that the fragrance oil is not included as I can't find rating for it.

Harrods - 274 ml total, average rating per ml (the size of each multiplied by the fragrantica rating) is 4.01

Harvey Nics 195.5ml. Average rating per ml 4.005

Close to 4 is very good rating - they have all chosen popular well rated fragrances. Many of my favourite perfumes are under that. Not that this should influence your choice, but it maybe of interest.

I am actually surprised to be honest - you may not like too many molecule scents, or oud sense etc but they have not tried to get rid of lower rated slower selling products as sometimes happens with beauty advents

Oh no have I missed the SpaceNK fragrance advent -it is showing as out of stock already? I can't believe I missed the release date again :(

Sorry I wasn't very clear. The glossy box calendar had a Gruum free gift which some people have received but I haven't had mind

I saw that offer in the early hours today @tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz and promptly put the HN calendar in my basket. I then remembered that I hadn’t even looked at the calendar properly so took it out again. Off to have a proper look in a minute!

I am still looking at what mixed fragrance advent, if any. Can't make Harvey Nics working for me as much as I like the idea. I know you can wear any fragrance but gender breakdown

8 male fragrances, or leaning male
4 unisex, one of them with oud and two escentric molecule/I don't know what and I am not interested in them. 1 left that is maybe
5 female, I know well 3 of them and I don't like them.

That leaves 2 from more feminine leaning scents and 1 unisex
Byredo Bal D'Afrique - I adore and have 100ml and few 8ml - I have enough.
Creed Carmina - it's nice
BDK Parfums Gris Charnel - it's ok
So that's Carmina and Gris Charnel only left and I have tested both and do not love. I prefer buying one full size perfume I love in this case, it doesn't add up as good one for me.

I've gone back and checked the sizes on the link I posted earlier (should have read it before posting and not judged the book by its cover 😁) and you're right, the sizes aren't as bad as they look in the photo. I still think it's a bit over priced though.

I've already ordered my k beauty items to make up my own second calendar so I'm going to pass.

And for those with a Amex it is worth looking at your offers as their is a £25 offer for a £250 spend and know in the past the TCB and Amex offer stacks….could bring it down to £187.50

Well like many of you I ordered Space NK by 10am on pre release day.
After phoning up on Friday AND Monday it’s now showing as dispatched.
I discovered this thread/group last year and went a bit bonkers with calenders.
l told myself I would show restraint this year.
Im not doing too well on the restraint front if im honest.
So far I have Space NK (hopefully - it’s for my 17 yr old DD, her first ever proper calender)

I’m REALLY hoping that Boots do those fabulous favourites boxes again which was DDs favourite pressie last year. It took me three days of pretty much sitting with iPad to get it but it was worth it.
I love reading all of your posts and despite the bad influence this thread is it’s my favourite annual one.

Hi, for anyone making DiY calendars:

HN are offering free delivery on any Le Labo products via TCB and there’s a tiny free gift too.

I am not convinced my visit/purchase to the HN site has been logged by TCB as I haven’t had any acknowledgment, so my attempts to get the extra £2 plus 15% have probably failed. I now have a totally unnecessary lip balm coming my way…😹

My purchases often don't track, but you can submit a claim to get the cashback.

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere in the threads. I just watched a YesStyle advent unboxing. I've never explored k beauty before but it was nice to see mostly full sized products in every drawer.

Are all the perfume advents unisex (as in containing fragrances for men and women?) ideally I would want a women’s only calendar.

Just catching up or rather not catching up since this thread has a billion messages a day! I ordered Space NK a while back and it was delivered this week! I've not even opened the postage packaging so I'm not tempted to peek.

Now I need to decide if I need any other ones 🙈 I really don't cos I've still not used all of last years haul! I saw the Jo Malone one in their shop this week and it looks 😍 how do folk rate that one?
