I couldn’t see a thread for the JL calendar and know a few of us have gone for it so thought I would start one. 😃

Nice product today

I tried the sleep drops last night & slept like a log for 7 hours-still woke at 5.30 though. Will keep using them as my sleep patterns are all over the place.

Very happy with today's, I love this brand but not used this particular product.

Morning Morning... Well I tried the sleep drops last night, slept through till 4 when I need a wee, then again till 6 but woke up singing Adam Ant's Stand and Deliver in my head!! 😂😂 No idea what that says about the drops! also.. where has that come from? not heard it in years!😆
How did everyone else sleep?
not too wrinkled as yet but looking forward to trying today's pressie.

Today’s drawer containes an Elemis Pro-collagen Rose Marine cream. Fairly small tube though.

Lovely product, rather small tube

Roundaboot · 08/12/2023 13:04

I tried the drops and slept fairly well but probably would have been better without the big cat roaming around the bed all night...but can't blame the drops for that!

Today's looks lovely if a bit small. But then I do like having smaller sized nice skincare items for weekends away or work trips, so I've added this to my washbag.

Chickydoo · 09/12/2023 07:13

This mornings is interesting a Rodial highlighter/concealer thing. I will give it a whirl and report back. It costs £38 for 5.5ml (ouch)!

pinkchampagne1 · 09/12/2023 09:13

Apparently this product is good for hiding dark circles around the eyes

It's only on opening this thread that I've realised I opened 19 instead of 9 this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️

pinkchampagne1 · 09/12/2023 16:33

Ha ha, that’s the sort of thing I would do!
I hope day 19 wasn’t a disappointment 😁

OP posts:
PinkArt · 09/12/2023 18:31

I wasn't thrilled with 19 but others may well be. It did make the discovery of what was in 9 even more exciting though 😂 My dark circles are happy

SaltyFulmar · 09/12/2023 21:06

I wish I’d got John Lewis again this year instead of Space NK as I’m very envious of your sleep drops, perfume and candle.

Plus the lip gloss looks lovely.

if anyone wanted to swap the lip gloss for a Charlotte Tislbury pallete let me know. The Space NK was paler colours than what you got in the JL one. I don’t really do eye make up.

Todays is fab! Aqua de Parma. I had. This same set in another calendar either last year or year before. It smells gorgeous!
It will 100% be used, although might take it on a weekend break.

mynameiscalypso · 10/12/2023 09:29

Very happy with today as well!

pinkchampagne1 · 10/12/2023 09:51

Also happy with the Aqua de Parma today. Have last years in my travel bag and am just coming to the end of it

I thought that and also if you start taking them every evening would it not cause a dependency...or is that the point ?

Livelifelaughter · 10/12/2023 12:23

Sorry was replying to a post on the CBD sleep drops..

PinkArt · 10/12/2023 13:06

Current research is that CBD isn't addictive @Livelifelaughter. So I guess you could become dependent, like with any routine or ritual, but not because it is an addictive substance.

Ah thank you. I suppose I was thinking if you relief on it to help you sleep then what happens when you finish the bottle but could be the same for many things...

pinkchampagne1 · 11/12/2023 07:17

Not an overly exciting day today

I really like Lumene products and this is definitely something that I'll use . It is a bit tiny though! Especially as the full size version is only £13.50!

pinkchampagne1 · 11/12/2023 07:29

Yes it would have been nice to have a full size seen as it isn’t an expensive product.

OP posts:
Floralovesflowers · 11/12/2023 07:39

Looking forward to trying today's cleanser-I use Lumene vit c serum & moisturiser from time to time so be good to try.

We've had Aqua Di Palma for the last few years & whilst it's a nice little set, I'd quite like something different. Have only just finished the perfume from last year.

I absolutely loved the Sunday Riley moisturiser last year so have everything crossed for similar (or same!) this year

Chickydoo · 11/12/2023 07:58

Not fussed about todays cleanser, it's a bit of a 'filler item.' I guess there has to be a few lower priced items to balance things out.
I'm sure I'll use it eventually

pinkchampagne1 · 11/12/2023 08:11

Yes I guess we always have a few filler items.

I loved the Sunday Riley vitamin C moisturiser last year too. Think we have already had our Sunday Riley product this year with the Good Genes.
