John Lewis advent opening thread

I couldn’t see a thread for the JL calendar and know a few of us have gone for it so thought I would start one. 😃

2 sets of sleep drops and no high end night skin care product cemented me looking elsewhere next year. Will probably go back to Liberty.

I think this costs just under £200 so I feel I might be better off just buying products I actually really want.
Last year the Augustus Bader and Sunday Riley Vitamin C were brilliant. I would rather have had 12 items of top end products...and some calendars now only have 12.
Still can't work out the shades in the Charlotte Tilbury shower.

Oh yes, I forgot we also got the AB moisturiser last year, which means we got 3 expensive moisturisers. This year we got one cheap moisturiser and a travel sized Elemis one.

I would also rather get 12 high end products. I have just started the Fenwicks 12 day calendar which I bought because of the free beauty box. Day 1 was the EGF serum which is £129 along with some beauty stamp thing (£50 to buy) and today I got a Bobbi Brown mascara.
