I couldn’t see a thread for the JL calendar and know a few of us have gone for it so thought I would start one. 😃

My favourite product last year was Sunday Role Vit C and the Kate Somerville exfoliaor, oh and the Augustus Bader....and the eye cream. This year's doesn't so far doesn't have those cult classics ?

RunnersTipple · 11/12/2023 13:52

Can I belatedly join you please? And say thank you as until I read this thread I hadn't realised there was a hand cream as well the Neom candle and spray that day. I've just found it tucked at the back of the drawer under a bit of packaging 😊 I've had The White Company and M&S beauty calendars for the past couple of years but fancied a change, and very pleased so far.

mynameiscalypso · 11/12/2023 17:54

Today's is boring but useful. I don't really have a favourite cleanser so it will definitely get used up and I'm always hopeful I'll find a cleanser that I love!

pinkchampagne1 · 12/12/2023 07:15

I am pleased with the bath oil today. We loved it last year but as it is over £50 to buy we haven’t been able to justify treating ourselves to another bottle. It smells gorgeous and makes your skin feel lovely and soft.

I'm pleased too! I really like this bath oil. I had about a quarter of the bottle left until a couple of weeks ago when I knocked the bottle off the bathroom shelf and smashed it on the floor. So very happy with a replacement!

Chickydoo · 12/12/2023 07:49

Love today's bath oil, a real luxury that I would never buy for myself. Am going to try it out in a few minutes.

Defiantlynot41 · 12/12/2023 08:24

@pinkchampagne1 have we already had the Sunday Riley Good Genes - which day was that?

Love the bath oil today, really looking forward to using it

pinkchampagne1 · 12/12/2023 08:37

Wondering if I opened the wrong day now…very likely first thing in the morning! 😳

I don't have a bath in my flat but I do have a growing collection of lovely small bottles of bath oils for the day I do!

Roundaboot · 12/12/2023 11:24

@PinkArt You can use this in the shower too - you massage it on before getting in. I frequently do that after a run/workout, it's really nice as you get the lovely fragrance and skin softening without making the bath all oily!

pinkchampagne1 · 13/12/2023 07:35

Not the most exciting moisturiser today but a full sized product

Roundaboot · 13/12/2023 07:48

I actually have this on the go at the moment. It's a good, everyday moisturiser.
Something a little more luxurious tomorrow would be nice!

Is anyone else having really weird dreams on the sleep drops? Monday night I had the most bizarre, cartoonish nightmares and then the worst brain fog yesterday. It could just be perimenopause (that gets the blame for everything!) but it's unusual for me to dream that much and that vividly so it did make me wonder

Chickydoo · 13/12/2023 07:52

Always happy with a moisturiser. I could do with a night cream though

pinkchampagne1 · 13/12/2023 08:02

I haven’t started using the sleep drops yet but noticed that I had weird vivid dreams when taking vitamin D. Apparently you can go into a deeper sleep with vitamin D so it might be to do with dreams changing with sleep quality.

I don't generally get on with products from The Ordinary but I'll put this in my travel bag for when I go away. My skin is so dry at the moment that I'm not sure it will been enough right now.

Livelifelaughter · 13/12/2023 08:09

I used to use the Ordinary cleanser and it's very good for its price point but there's other more lux offerings that are better....also it's another cleanser...

pinkchampagne1 · 13/12/2023 08:21

It’s a moisturiser isn’t it?

OP posts:
Refurbishmentino · 13/12/2023 11:26

Yes its a moisteriser. I’m happy with todays, and its not an expensive brand so if I like it - its a good one to carry on using as it won’t break the bank

pinkchampagne1 · 14/12/2023 07:13

That’s more like it. 😊

Hooray!
Sunday Reily Good Genes, Glycolic acid serum.
I'm using the votary one at the moment, so might be a while before I open this.

Roundaboot · 14/12/2023 07:41

Ooh! That's definitely more like it! I'm excited to give this a try!

Floralovesflowers · 14/12/2023 07:41

Oh yes, super happy with today's Good Genes product-have recently finished a bottle of liquid gold so very timely.

mynameiscalypso · 14/12/2023 07:45

I'm very happy too. I had a bottle of this before and it made my skin so good. Excellent size as well!

Refurbishmentino · 14/12/2023 07:46

Errrr…I got something torally different! Am now wondering whether I opened the right door 🙈

Refurbishmentino · 14/12/2023 07:46

But am at work now so can’t check!
