New thread, thanks for the brilliant title suggestion, as ever!

I know everyone wears those white trainers now, with anything and everything, but I'm not a fan. They make people look like Smurfs. I often see women wearing perfectly nice dresses that are ruined by a pair of those awful plasticky looking white trainers (though I realise they might not be plastic and may have cost a fortune). Not for me.

I agree, William looks like Goofy!

Papergirl1968 · 10/11/2023 19:37

Camilla in what appears to be the same cape jacket and boots that she wore yesterday, at a party to celebrate her nephew being invested as a knight.
And Fergie at a Red Cross event.

This is the right photo of Camilla, sorry

I like the idea of Fergie's dress but the waistline needs to be lower.

Yes. I'm not keen on those floaty sleeves either.

MotherofPearl · 10/11/2023 20:11

Good to see Cams has brought The Boots out of hibernation.

LadyEloise1 · 11/11/2023 00:39

That purple dress on SF is as my dgm would say "a holy show"

chesterelly1 · 11/11/2023 08:31

I think we'll see that cape make regular appearances, maybe not quite as regular as the boots but if Camilla finds something she likes she sticks with it.
Not keen on SF's purple dress, but if you've just gone through treatment for breast cancer and are happy to wear something that draws attention to your boobage go for it. This look from insta the other day is fantastic though, with just the right amount of gold platforms on show to remind you that she's still fun Fergie.

Fergie's purple dress is indeed a holy show! Like a Quality Street explosion 🙈
In contrast, I think she looks fantastic in the sleek lines of the trouser suit.

KillingMeDeftly · 11/11/2023 09:37

She really is the Irrepressible Sarah Ferguson! Surely she should be getting a reality TV deal soon??

DisforDarkChocolate · 11/11/2023 10:14

I love the purple dress, I think Fergie looks great in it.

I love Camilla's cape, in my mind I and a cape wearer. In reality I just can't pull them off.

Sophie in Canada. I think the floral design on the Me+Em dress is a bit large, and strangely very similar to the woman's she's standing next too, at one point. I rather like the blue Etro, it's quite different, and an interesting design.

Official visit of The Duchess of Edinburgh to Canada, 3rd and 4th day

The Duchess wore a romantic floral print midi dress by Me+Em. Gabriela Hearst Hannah brown midi dress and Etro paisley-print v-neck woven midi dress

I had completely forgotten that Sarah F has recently had treatment for breast cancer.
Good on her for dressing up and getting out there ( even if I don't like the purple dress ).

KillingMeDeftly · 11/11/2023 10:39

Sophie's really totting up the airmiles lately. And I heard that Edward is soon heading off on a tour of NZ. Can't accuse the Edinburghs of being workshy!

Their children are older though. One is at uni. The other possibly in boarding school.

Maireas · 11/11/2023 10:53

James goes to a day school, as did Louise - Sophie was often seen doing the school runs. I think Edward is still at home for him.

I’d watch that 📺

He's older though - mid/late teens?

gingercat02 · 11/11/2023 11:39

Love that brown dress on Sophie, and quite like the slightly odd blue one, again not keen on the flowery Erdem.
Sophie is a little older than me, and I envy her clothes budget

Yes, but you'd probably still want a parent at home before and after school, even if you're in yr11.

Agree @Maireas, I imagine that's why they seem to tag team their tours and are rarely both away at the same time.

My Y11 comes home to an empty house 3 evenings a week and leaves for school before me 3 mornings a week (I don't even see him) ww can't all be at home as much as we would like 🥲

MotherofPearl · 11/11/2023 13:07

Me too @gingercat02. And she is sometimes enlisted to fetch her Yr3 sister from after school club if I'm running late. I think a bit of independence does them good. Smile

KillingMeDeftly · 11/11/2023 13:15

Also true @gingercat02, I guess I was thinking more of trips that require overnight stays of days at a time. But I doubt anyone is truly 'home alone' at royal residences!

No, I meant being abroad. I'm sure he could cope mornings and evenings, but most parents would avoid both being overseas unless necessary.
