She’s just trying to marry well again. Tbh Fred is not the type for this, it would be too difficult, but she’s been trying to marry a very wealthy / high profile man since she and Cayetano broke up. She loves magazine covers and has been mostly off the radar since the Duchess of Alba, who liked her a lot and kind of protected her, passed away. It is all very strange, she is not followed by paps so there’s something odd going on.

I'm reminded of a very old fashioned phrase.

"She's no better than she ought to be."

Can't recall who used to say this, granny, mother?
