I really love Kate's look today, the colour is perfect for her as is the cut of the suit... not a brassy button is sight!

Also adding a pic of Zara from her recent Aus Women's Weekly spread... herself and Mike are off to Aus shortly for their annual horsey time trip to the Gold Coast.

I wonder how long it took to get that horse to pose like that.

I love the suit on Catherine today, swapping to some modern flats and it would have been perfect (to me). I think high heels make her feel confident. They make me feel wobbly.

I think the Cambridge Lover's Knot is elegant, and suits Kate. Good earrings! Camilla looks great, I'm not sure about Kate's shiny dress.

Great look - it's always difficult to wear something that allows all the extras to be worn successfully. It's a lovely dress - very appropriate for the occasion.... not sure about the length of it though.

Camilla and Kate have both shortened the yellow fabric bow that their QEII family order sits on - they are now about half the size. Interesting! Makes it much less of a post-it note. 🤣

Do you think Catherine has a dresser and/or make-up artist? She presumably has a hairdresser most days..?

Edit - and am I right in thinking Camilla has Queen’s companions rather than ladies-in-waiting? (I’d love to know more about the staff and how things have changed over the last 100 years).

You would need someone to lay all your jewels and tiaras out for you 😊Imagine that - no need to wash or look after your clothes - all ready just there for you. I believe I read once that with the Queen records were kept as to what wasworn when etc. I'm sure this happens. I would love to have a hairdresser and make up artist on hand. I would also have massages when I felt like it .😄

@Incogg - I remember reading that Kate has a wardrobe assistant, although I'm not sure about the precise nature of the job. She's never had a makeup artist, always doing it herself.
She used to go to Stephen Ward hairdressers in Chelsea, but maybe he comes to her now? I remember before the Coronation Sophie was spotted coming out of there.

I don’t like how Kate wears her hair over the back of tiaras .. like it’s back combed. I thought tonight’s outfit was a bit underwhelming but I’m not surprised given the occasion

Imagine coming home from a night out, exhausted and just wanting to fall into bed, it must be as much of an effort getting out of the clothes as getting ready, no hope of stepping out of the dress and flinging it over the back of a chair, or leaving the jewellery on the dressing table until you get around to returning it to their correct boxes and safe the next day. It would put me of ever going out😀

Love that photo of Zara - she does casual style best I think and has fab legs! Gorgeous horse. @KnickerlessParsons you can easily get a horse to move like that if you (very gently of course!) push their shoulder or side. He'll move in a sort of shoulder-in (dressage move) and you get a beautiful photo. She's a fab horsewomen and clearly so comfortable with her horses.
I love Kate's gown and also love her blue trouser suit - very sleek.

The Mail are atrocious at this (and everything). They often make stupid mistakes, muddling up the names of tiaras and even on occasion muddling up names of the RF.

I agree with @SenecaFallsRedux that it looks like a stomacher. I can see it looks a bit odd but massive kudos to Camilla if it is a stomacher. That's Queen Mary levels of commitment to bling.
