New thread, thanks for the brilliant title suggestion, as ever!

But I think she should have worn a stonking collection of diamonds with it.

There must be some communication behind the scenes - 'I'll wear mine if you wear yours?!'

SenecaFallsRedux · 01/12/2023 18:25

The video I watched said CPV's dress featured "feathered detail." I assume that means fabric cut into feathers. but not sure.

AllTangledUpInTitlesAndTiaras · 01/12/2023 18:37

I think it's actual feathers.

Actually having seen her jewellery up close I like it.

justasking111 · 01/12/2023 18:43

They could be goose feathers

It's a Swedish brand Toteme.

EtiennePalmiere · 01/12/2023 21:30

That gown is amazing ! It fits her so well, and the silver cuff bracelets are nice too.

Victoria visiting Cranfield University

Victoria seems to be looking better as she gets older, probably down to self confidence.

whiteshutters · 02/12/2023 08:31

I had to look up her age as she dresses in a very matronly way.

LadyEloise1 · 02/12/2023 09:48

I'm not keen on Victoria's style choices either usually.
I feel she doesn't "make the most of herself" iykwim.
It's the hairstyle I think.
A fringe might suit her ?

MotherofPearl · 02/12/2023 12:04

I think CPV's coloured trouser suits are a bit Angela Merkel and not particularly stylish (though perhaps practical and certainly professional). However, her eveningwear is often really great. She has worn some beautiful gowns and can absolutely carry off tiaras and statement jewellery. But yes, I do wish she wouldn't scrape her hair back quite so severely - it's not flattering.

MmePoppySeedDefage · 02/12/2023 15:33

I suspect it's deliberate so she's taken more seriously and not just seen as a clothes horse. Seems sensible in her situation.

Lunde · 02/12/2023 18:29

I'm not sure if anyone has posted CPV's sparkly dress from an event at the Natural History museum on November 29th. I believe it is a customised H&M.

She is fond of H&M, and I love the sparkle.
I'm not sure about the length though, maybe better a bit longer?

I think it was probably a difficult event to dress for as there were expected to tramp around the museum and look at exhibits before eating dinner. In some pictures it looks more ankle length. In this one they were at the dinosaur exhibit

Yes, that looks a better length.

CPV does have lovely hair when it's down in some pictures. "Royal Hair — In your opinion, why does CP Victoria always have..." https://royal-hair.tumblr.com/post/160231874400/in-your-opinion-why-does-cp-victoria-always-have

Yes, that's a lovely picture of her in the floral gown, with her hair down.

I think Victoria looks lovely with her hair down - it’s a shame she sticks so religiously to scraping it back.

What a gorgeous photo of her with her hair down and wearing pale gown and pearls.

Please can someone on here bid for a Royal Curtain Kimono! 😊
