Yes no red lipstick or black eyeliner! I’m hoping for a candle or a Liberty perfume sample. Talking of things that pop up with alarming regularity in GWPs and beauty boxes etc - anyone here actually wanting a mini nars orgasm blush (unopened in box)? Happy to put it in the post. I had two, tried one and it doesn’t suit me.

I always appreciate a perfume sample. I smelled the 'Tudor' perfume from the upcoming Liberty range and it's pleasant but not amazing considering the full size will apparently be £225 I would be interested to try the other scents though. A candle would definitely be amazing! I'd also like a make up item but I understand it's hard to get makeup right for a wide range of people.

Hard hard to get perfume right too - the darling Nikki stuff smells like a senior citizen c1985 on me!

I love perfume but haven't got on with any in the beauty drop so far. Still willing to keep trying though. No more cleansers or scrubs though, sick of those. I'd like a nice neutral lip gloss or balm. I have only had one make up product in 1.5 years of getting the drop and that was sparkly blue eye liner. I'd gladly exchange that for red lip stick or black eyeliner! Actually I have a huge fondness for a red lip that I couldn't pull off in my youth but really seems to work now. Black eyeliner has always been a bit too much on me. Now a nice brown I could get on board with. I like to try new mascaras too.

Excuse a newbie to these threads, but what do you all do with unwanted (unopened) items from BD boxes? Are there reliably places to sell or swap them? I'm not aiming to make my money back but dislike clutter and don't want to just chuck (or fob off onto uninterested friends, which is really the same thing).

@clowniform I give mine away if I don't like it. I just gave a friend 2 items from my GWP from May, and I did a swap with a nice person here a few drops back which was lovely. We also have a toiletries section at work (as some people go on field work/do unsociable hours) by the showers so I leave unwanted items there sometimes. They don't go to waste

Actually I'd love a lip balm/gloss too. All mine are old and I'm trying to get into a habit of wearing some again

@clowniform I give unwanted items to friends, or sometimes my cleaner. But some people seem to sell them on Ebay or Vinted (sometimes asking silly prices!)

@Orangeslemon thats a crazy price for the Liberty perfume. I do love nice perfumes but I am a bit agog at some of the price hikes and new perfume prices. It feels a bit unsustainable to me not to mention unjustifiable.

I am shocked at the amount of Stately Bouquet mini candles from the advent calendar already on sale on eBay.
It seems like quite a few people are buying the calendar with the sole purpose of selling on the contents.

Just got the Lisa Eldridge x Liberty email and (as a result of a speedy skim read walking between meetings) thought it was a new kit, not just a bag.

Now that’s a kit I’d pay big bucks for, probably more than advent calendar money.

Cracked and bought the Mercury bag in the sale, I had some loyalty vouchers to use so thought I’d have a payday treat.

I expect that most people just sell the items that they don't want. I usually sell the Augustines Bader Cream and use the money to replace it with something that I actually want from another calendar.

Thanks all! I might try listing some bundles (despite crippling laziness). Really the answer would be to unsubscribe but there have been enough surprise winners to keep me hooked, and spending the credit is never a struggle 😁

@Ducksinthebath A Lisa Eldridge calendar would be so tempting, I might not even complain about jewellery inclusions.

Watch out if you’re ordering anything in the sale. I’ve ordered a couple of items, one for delivery and one for collection and both have gone missing. Customer service have been helpful and I’m having them resent but it doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence about their logistics. I’d say at this point over a couple of years I’ve had more parcels go missing than actually arrive successfully and not get lost or dumped in next door’s bin.

@Ducksinthebath mine came with Amazon logistics with no problems. Seems to be dependent on who your local courier is.

I get a mix of Amazon, DPD and have done click and collect at a supermarket and in store. Shocking service one and all.

Have I missed out on this year's AC? I'm a BD subscriber and have had nothing from Liberty about the AC but see some posters here already ordered theirs. Just logged in to my account and it suggested I sign up to be notified about when the AC is available to order, unsure if that's for BD members or Joe Public?
