I got a new dress in the JL sale for my stepson's wedding.

I double checked mine today as I put it away for Christmas as a treat. Mine was a zipped wash bag. It said on the lable gwp tier 1. I have no idea what that meant. Or if it's relevant. But I was expecting a drawstring bag. The print is the same I think....

I've just used my beauty drop credit on some hourglass make up as a treat for myself! I'm a new member so it felt amazing it being 'free' I wanted to save the credit really for a kit later in the year but couldn't resist! But really looking forward to the beauty drop mid Jan as the last one was such a hit for me

What hourglass makeup did you get @dullandgrey ? I got a swirly blusher in my advent calendar which is amazing but when I’ve tried the eyeshadows from hourglass I’ve ended up looking like the elephant man

@WeAreBorg I got the lip duo glossy balm set which I had my eye on for a while but couldn't justify the cost before the sale. I love lip products so excited to try them as they look so fancy. A shame about the eyeshadow! What I really want is the ambient palette...

So I have come to tye difficult decision that after Januarys box and once I've spent my credit I'm going to cancel my subscription 😳 I've realised that I love the boxes but struggle to find items to spend my credit on. I first joined because I thought it was a great way to save for the calendar and I really enjoyed opening that. But that itch has been scratched and after Christmas especially in drowning in gorgeous products so really don't need more.

Anyhoo - I've a basket full of gorgeous bits waiting to click buy however what's stopping me is (total contradiction to the above now) is - What if I buy today and there's an excellent GWP in a few weeks (basket is just over £200)? I'll be gutted to have had one last hurrah especially as the items I've picked are only just reduced.

What to do?!!

Hmmm was really hoping the jewellery advent calendar would go in the sale - but it seems to have gone up in price! Really hoped it would get a good discount - probably was a bit wishful thinking though!

Looking forward to the Jan box, be good to have something nice to look forward to and open. I could also be tempted by a gwp too @tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz but def going to try and save my credit for the advent calendar next year

I'm determined to not give into temptation during the year and save for Christmas/advent calendar. I managed to save for about 8 months this year and it has been nice to treat myself to a couple of bits

I'd been thinking of buying a Barbour jacket with my credit but the jacket in Sage has now sold out with only black left!!

I'm struggling to use my credit on anything and although I enjoy receiving the boxes I'm tempted to cancel.

I’m going to keep going next year and get the advent calendar. I love the boxes coming every few months and I’m on a no buy this year except for necessary replacements so they will keep me going. And if I’m very tempted to buy anything I can use some of my credit.

Although I have such a large beauty and fragrance stash I’ll have to try REALLY hard to avoid buying any 2024 beauty kits 😅

I gave up on my beauty box subscription. Think I’ll get some perfume from byredo with the money I’ve. I still have some left so as I’ve until November I’ll hold on it until maybe summer when I need a new one

I am expecting more to be added to the sale after new year, but that may be wishful thinking. I want to put my credit towards some jewellery and I’m hoping the Shaun Leane stuff will be reduced at some point. If not then I shall be kicking myself for not buying in the Black Friday sale. Completely understand what people are saying about struggling to spend, but I’m happy to run with it for another year, I think.

Then I thought F it, get something I want not need. The credit was gone in a flash 😁I too got the hourglass duo and some earrings.

I plan to keep at it for another year and buy the calendar without checking contents.

When I started the beauty drop, my plan was to use the money on the hair products I normally buy elsewhere. Then I thought I’d save it all for the calendar. Then I was tempted by the sales, the kits, fabric, Diptyque perfume and candles. And here we are, nothing left for these sales. So, this year, I’m planning on saving the lot all year and then splashing out on a handbag…. that’s unless there is a good GWP, good kit or…. I have such poor restraint, finding something to buy is definitely not an issue for me!!!

I envy those of you who struggle to spend your credit.

I had loads. Then I bought some fabric, sunscreen and treated myself to a lipstick.

I’ll need to keep saving for the perfume I want!!

Every time I see something in the Liberty sale I quite like, I chuck it in my basket to monitor for further reductions.

Basket is currently at £1300 🤣

Have had to delete a few things that sold out, though!

Anyone know when the sale is on until? There is a perfume I want but my next beauty drop payment will be taken on the 6th and I want to wait till I can include that in my payment. Will it be too late?

I ordered some sale earrings then had buyer regret. Quite pleased that they messaged me to say the order has been cancelled and refunded me with a voucher, as I'd used BD credit. I think I'm going to save it for perfume.

I’d you’re not in a rush then you can wait until next sale. They tend to have some every now and then

I've just ordered a set of Granado perfumes that were on sale. I had a voucher for Christmas plus a loyalty voucher, so just had to use a small amount of Beauty Drop credit to get it without spending anything. I could have bought loads but I'm trying to declutter and use stuff up this coming year so I chose just one thing I really wanted.

Am I right in thinking they eventually do further reductions in most of their big sales? (Not the Black Friday one)

I just know I got some terrific bargains last January, and I don’t see anything marked down to the same extent right now.

Hi All I’ve just joined the Liberty Beauty Drop today & hoping I’ll be eligible for the January Box? Does anybody know if you have to have x number of months worth before you get the box or do you think I’d be eligible?
not sure what I’ll spend the credit on but see they stock the Oribe hair products. I got the moisturising cream in my Vogue Calendar & really liked it, so will spend the credits on that if I don’t see anything else.

Not shopped at Liberty before but the scheme sounds good, I’ll see after I get a Beauty Box whether I still want to continue 🙂.
