Still, mostly bits I liked in the GWP and had a basket waiting with stuff from Davines, Ortigia and Commes de Garçon and enough BD credit to cover the £180 spend I had.

It’s got so many of my favourite things in there but I’ve repurchased them all and don’t really want to spend £175 for it. Shame as the bag is beautiful.

New member of the BD and I also seem to not get emails even though I'm opted in! Looks like lots of people on this thread have this issue. Annoying

@dullandgrey - I was about to post this too! New member to beauty drop and I'm not receiving any emails. I wouldn't know about any GWP if I wasn't subscribed to this thread!

If you log in to your account and select the first option of "my account", then scroll down, you'll see an "contact preference" section. You can then edit to ensure you are opted in for email. (And text & post.)

@Quella thank you! I had indeed "opted out" of all communications -all changed now!

@Quella thanks, I had checked this already and have seen I am opted in for emails! I think they do early releases for things like kits for BD members? So I'd definitely want to be in the loop. I will contact customer services and see what they say.

I had the same problem and it took several calls to customer services before they sorted it out with their IT department and I started to receive emails.

I've had the same problem for years and it's really really annoying. I get the emails saying they've topped me up, but none of the ones with promotions. Haven't got around to calling customer service.

I did an online chat and told them precisely which emails I was getting (BD balance) and which ones I wasn’t (early bird type). There are two lists you need to be opted into.

Can we opt into them ourselves or do they have to do it for you? Everything is ticked on my account

Is there usually a spring GWP, does anyone know?

@Lotsofpots everything looked okay my end. Sounded like the online chat could see different settings to me.

@ferretface yes, in the past there has been a GWP around the end of March/early April I think.

So, does the Liberty sale traditionally start on Christmas Day or Boxing Day?

Was expecting a £20 voucher in January but nearly all my loyalty points have suddenly disappeared....help...

They reset every quarter. The last points period ended on Nov 30th. If you have enough for a voucher, those points get deducted (voucher will be sent out in January) and the remainder roll over.

Thank you I was a bit miffed. I suppose they time it so people don't have the vouchers in time for the Christmas sales

But IIRC the sales carried on well into January last time. I bet they won’t issue the vouchers until it’s all over though!

I loved the Hera candle in last year’s calendar. I couldn’t resist at 10% off. I still have more than £200 credit burning a hole in my account.

Has anyone got anything in the sale yet?

I’m wanting to use my credit and had my eye on a lipstick but then saw it was almost half the price in Space NK.
