Looks like the large was a good call then.

I retried the Maya today just to check I was keeping it. I love it. Its the most gorgeous material. I got the cream and ochre.

I tried that in the winter sale@ScottishMouse and the medium was sooooo big.

@Stoic123 ,my wardrobe is so "eclectic" there's a gap between each item! And that pic really made me giggle, it's meeeee!

Subs line since wonderful finds there @Alpacasoft , it's so nice to find things that are just so nice to wear.

@Saurus72 ,i tried the ticking strip trousers pre sale so have ordered them now. The fabric is not insubstantial, so not for the hottest summer days, but nice, comfy. I found them flattering. I'm a 14 but with a waist so I bought medium. They skim up over my hips but then sit comfortably. I liked them so much for casual trousers i nearly kept them. They also went with a lot of tops that weren't the more obvious plain tees, like the lys and the dark blue check. In looking guard to having them back!

Thanks @Snowyowl78 and @neveradullmoment99 - I think I will try to restrain myself from ordering shorts atm as I have ordered too much already. Might try later in the sale if any are still around, (assuming I return some of my current order!)

@neveradullmoment99 Likewise the paler c’way for the Maya; I tried the navy instore a while ago but it drained me. The shape is perfection IMO and I really need some cool airy dresses with sleeves.

I have navy and fenugreek trousers intended for warm evenings cooking and eating outside, needless to say they have ‘ best trouser’ status and I’m still wearing the old stuff.
Any recommendations for a pair of linen in the sale . Must be airy and cool .

Any sample sale is literally miles away from me sadly.

I have these too. The material is wonderful.

Fomo is real ladies, after being certain i would not buy another sleeveless dress, BAM! I bought the pond dress, and then, you know, in for a penny so i added the red check dress. Then i took a moment to really think this through and the chocolate fishermen trousers slipped in. I can trust myself to return things i don't love, but still! Re the pond, i kept seeing it under my much loved worn in lightweight and soft, faded black denim jacket.

@dudsville - the lure of the Pond is strong🤣

I was also musing this week whilst reading so many toast reviews about sizing mishaps, I wonder if toast will ever go under just because they couldn't grasp sizing. There would be a traffic column in the papers about how they had an excellent eye for fabrics and tailoring, and how a loyal fan base spent pages and pages discussing their product, but in the end it was their failure to grasp the real meaning of numbers beyond the vague felt sense of how many mushrooms should fit in a pocket.

At least half of what I've ordered in this sale has been a 2nd or 3rd size of an item, and I just did this with the pond check too. And me too @Alpacasoft ,i think i have enough to see me through!

@dudsville - promise you'll share a list of everything you've kept at the end of the sale. Love your enthusiasm.

And think of the eBay prices ladies if Toast went under. They are high now but......

Luxurious retirement if we can bear to part.
