Hello!

Just ordered the cotton linen workwear trousers in French blue, been OOS for ages., added a Maya dress which I’d been resisting for an unknown reason; I have the Autumn version and love it.
Still got 2 weeks to wait before I get to UK to open the parcels , and suddenly twigged that I’m going to be out of the 14 day return window for the first order which had 2 jumpsuits and a jacket , all chosen on whim ( and because I am easily swayed by the enthusiasm here! )

Even more? I'm not going to buy anything else! Not! Looking🫣

Guess what I bought 🤣

I was out when my sister told me about more things being added. I got my dh to pull over so I could do an order in a spot with internet.

Unfortunately, in my excitement I engaged in a bit of over-ordering so I absolutely can’t order anymore, (although those boatneck t shirts have been in my wishlist a while!)

That beautiful dress@Dee1224 , i was happy for you! I nearly got it but my experience of the painted check just really brought home that i don't suit sleeveless. It's a beautiful dress.

And my orders have been dispatched as well. I think it's all been much better and quicker this sale.

I must admit, having tried my sister’s broad check dress, I wanted that too, (and it’s a better reduction than the Pond) but it hasn’t reappeared as a return🙃

I ordered the linen panelled trousers to try in a small, (they will probably be too small, though).

For some unknown reason I also ordered the sail stripe dress and the linen gingham, even though I wasn’t that keen when I tried them in-store.

Having got too excited, I am now experiencing a bit of buyer’s remorse 🤣

Oh dear, the Bryn tie neck, has just found it way past my hidden credit card.

This is an expensive sale !!

Yes, I like that too @Whitesandblueskies - I should have ordered it instead of two of the ones I did!

Sadly I know my cc number off by heart, so hiding it does no good😂

Btw: Was it the garment dyed linen shorts that people found quite small? (Not that they are in my basket, or anything…)

so that’s from left actually a Zara thin jumper with Toast scarf (new drop).
zara linen top, then all Toast , Sadie shirt this is a favourite, linen top , navy linen I bought to go with fungereek trousers, green one is last year mauve shirt bought when John Lewis stocked Toast, Ollie shirt first shirt I bought and then the striped one from last sale but has very big sleeves and I only wear it under something. Also the easy shirt in blue and white are in there somewhere. 😳I like to have choices.

@Dee1224 which ones? I think the chocolate ones are old sizing and the rest new sizing. Ie, the others are smaller.

Hi @Snowyowl78 - thanks for your reply. I wasn’t that keen on the bitter chocolate in the linen trousers I tried last week, so I was thinking about the orange or darker ones.

Thanks@Countmeout , we need variety! And l am i right in relenting that you're that one that sl wears a vest so well? There's a nice knitted one in the sale and thought of you. I tried the white easy shirt AGAIN this sale, i just cannot get it into my head that it doesn't suit me! I also tried the blue one but it wasn't for me either. Like you, i have variety enough! It's just nice to have more.

I just lovingly looked at my dispatch emails and saw that in my rush during my lunch break i also ordered the space check trousers, how funny that i completely forgot that! I tried 6 pairs of relaxed trousers pre-sale and they were one of them, and i distinctly thought i would not want them in a sale. Let's see what lies my brain tells me when they arrive.

This has been my most expensive sale. There are only two things i could possibly send back so I'll give them a critical eye later, but this may just be that, my biggest toast spend ever. On glad i stick to the sales as i love everything. My only mistakes were some trousers early on, but 4x£60, i can take that hit, and I'm much more savvy now.

I dove back into the sale and then frantically tried to backpedal away- but not fast enough to avoid snagging 2 more items.

Both are whimsical purchases. The Navigation Print Scarf in Water has been on and off my wish list a few times. I don't wear scarves enough to justify buying this but every time spot it, I get cravings. Will see if the colour pops as much in real life.

The second item is the Starfish Lounge Jacket because, of course, this is a major wardrobe gap that needs to be urgently filled -NOT 😂.

So much activity today!

I was at a work thing today so had to be very quick and surreptitious as I flicked through the sale and added to my basket. I bought the navy boat neck 3 quarter sleeve t - I have it in black and love it. I also quite randomly added the maple brown (I never wear brown 🤷‍♀️) linen herringbone trousers because the fabric looks so stunning and they look like they would be cosy for wfh in the A/W.

I also bought the diamond stripe cotton trousers. Those 2 trousers are really wildcards.

These have all been dispatched he’s already, and my 2 other returns have been processed so v pleased about that.

I’m also quite tempted to try the ticking stripe linen trousers too - and maybe the check linen trousers. I’d really appreciate any feedback if anyone has them. They’d both be for wfh in the AW so need to be comfy but presentable. TIA.

My latest order arrived the V neck cotton jersey dress in 2 sizes , small and medium and the Draped cotton linen utility dress in rich olive.
The Draped cotton linen dress has niggles at me for a while.
I decided it will be lovely or awful so I took the plunge.
It's absolutely gorgeous !
I tried it on the with the collar open and a silver chunky bead necklace and its perfect.
Skims my waist and hips and the kick pleat drapes really nicely.
It's not so bright green as the picture, a lovely dark olive.
I've also ordered in denim and slate blue-will keep which I like best, although the denim has not been dispatched 🤔
The V neck cotton jersey dress is an absolute corker!
I kept the medium as it looked better at the top slightly looser but the small did fit.
It's a slightly tulip shaped skirt, skims everything and just so flattering.
If you are tall this is the perfect dress.

@Dee1224 @neveradullmoment99 ive got the brown ones from eBay which I love (they are quite burgundy) and I tried the blue ones and they are definitely a whole size smaller than the brown ones (or the previous space check ones from a few years ago- they are back on now but I dunno if they are new sizing or old.)

I concluded that the blue, copper and stripy ones are smaller. So I’ve ordered the blue and copper in a medium when I have the chocolate and the space check in a small. I like these shorts as you will be able to tell! The height of comfort!

Not that I am going to order it, you understand! Well, unless the three dresses that are on their way all end up going back. Just wondering about sizing. If anyone has a size small or medium, would you mind measuring armpit to armpit for me? And maybe also the width of the waist? Thanks!

Never mind, ignore that last comment. The small has now been snaffled, and the reviews suggest medium would be too big.

I have this dress. The medium is huge. Its a lovely dress. I got the small. Lovely cord. Got compliments about it.

Its still oversized but in a nice way. If you are a 12, you probably could have got the xs.
