Hello!

Thanks for the new thread. Loving the wardrobe photos and spotting things I have and have tried. Like a trip down memory lane.
Sadly we had a bereavement in the last few weeks which had turned things upside down, so I've not posted in a while. Reading your posts has helped though, it's a lovely distraction :)
I did make some sale purchases but quite safe. The wool base layer tops, various socks, one of the v neck linen tops in the Montella (I think). Oddly I didn't like the black in the same style so that went back. Also returned the gathered sleeve in shell pink as the sleeves cut in my elbows and were super annoying. Shame as the colour suited me.
I'd also hoped for returns which they've normally added back into the sale by now.....strange.

Can someone tell me about sizing for that sleeveless lightweight denim dress. Particularly how snug it is on the bust.
Also the pinafore from this season with the deep v at the front. Will that work with a busy? Thanks!

@ScottishMouse the sleeveless denim one is very big, I am a 14, usually 12 in toast. Took a 10 in this, easily. Not tight in the bust.

I was just looking at that dress @Snowyowl78 and trying to convince myself I did not need a sleeveless denim dress.

I also tried that gathered sleeved tee and was looking forward to that colour in particular but, similar to you, the cuff for me sat just below my elbow and i knew i would just be aware of it constantly. Shame as the colour is really nice and i love the bracelet length versions.

Popped in to give some love to the Steve Mono artisanal sandals in Oxblood! Perfect shoes for the office in this weather. Beautiful quality. I hope they are comfortable as had a bad experience with a pair of non-Toast sandals recently.

Sadly the Broad Check Linen Tank Top in Ochre looked like a table cloth on me so that’s going back!

I don't even have a wardrobe! loving your pics. and joining in the trying to keep from throwing a wobbler at work week, I have only got it through it by telling myself I could not buy nice shiny new things from Toast without it! x

@lordloveadog - seeing the Peaks Print in your wardrobe reminds me that I have not worn mine yet. Another languishing viscose dress that I need to crack on with wearing!

Oh for goodness sake, I was not going to place another order, but now I have just ordered the sleeveless denim dress and the pinafore with the deep v to try. 🙄 Had to pay for DHL as I am going away for a couple of weeks early next week. I get such terrible fomo when returns come in and start to get snapped back up 🙄🙄

I would also recommend the pinafore @Stoic123 has mentioned. One of my best Toast buys in years.

My refunds have started to come through so now I can try the non-sale pebble dress.

@dudsville the brown dress with blue rectangles and smaller white ones? I didn't post myself wearing it, but it was an astonishingly good buy. I think my first Toast purchase. So beautiful and flattering and useful.

The blue check is the dress. Very useful, good strong thick fabric so a 'doing things' dress rather than a swanning around looking nice but being careful dress - in case anyone else has that categorization!

@Stoic123 the peaks dress is so loose and comfortable that I actually have worn it several times. Most recently to quite a posh wedding for which it was just right. The viscose ones that are languishing are the more fitted ones. I think I dislike the lack of give in the fabric.

Luckily that sleeveless denim dress is sold out in an 18.

Ah sorry @Theteapotsbrokenspout. Will see if they manage to fulfil my order, as both items were then gone in my size after I ordered, so perhaps only one available.
I should get them on Friday fingers crossed, so will let you know if it is going back.

i spent from 3am - 5am reading the whole of the previous thread with rising excitement that I may have found my tribe.

i adore Toast, but am often hampered by the tiniest of stores in a town 20 miles away and total confusion over sizing. Several things bought full price this year have gone back because of size issues.

My sale bargains have been a mixed bag. The double faced indigo duffle is too large and shapeless. The Windflower PJs, large on top but the right fit on the bottoms. I will keep the PJ’s and am now haunting the sale list for the Peagreen oilskin coat and am thinking about the POW Jacket.

Would love the trousers too but no idea which sizes to order for the jacket and trousers. I am a standard high street 12 but all the trousers ordered this year in 10 or S have swamped me.

How do you navigate the size issues? Any idea what sizes I should order on the POW Jacket / Trousers?
