Thanks Mavis that looks great. It wasn't the one I was looking at though, perhaps it's not available to purchase, it wasn't clear from the website

The Stylevana order from late January arrived today (FFS). Last one still “processing”, so not even posted yet. Meanwhile, my lipbalms are all here in readiness for Southern Hemisphere Winter and one of them is a thing of beauty. If I could get another elsewhere, I absolutely would…. But never again with SV!
I have a snowglobe lipbalm! It feels very much like the Nars Afterglow lip balms that I used to adore so much. (This is one of those trendy ones that turns pink, though. Wish I had bought the clear one!)

My inner six year old is doing a 'mummy I want it' on the snow globe lip balm.

(it was £69 when I bought it, plus P&P - it’s £86 +P&P now, but still imo amazing value, there’s a £110 and a £98 moisturiser just to start with, and a year’s digital subscription to Red magazine.)

I seeing it is back on at full price. I think they took it down to take off the offer price which I was about to buy so I feel kind of cheated to pay the extra now!

Sorry, quick question, does anyone know if the Next boxes are in store? I've a last minute gift buying issue but my closest store is a bit of a schlep if it's just on the off chance!

And I succumbed in the early hours to the Liberty beauty drop, despite the April bills due. It seems too good to be true! You don’t actually lose any money, it’s like a beauty bank account, I don’t know how they do it.

I have also done this. I'm treating it as an extra Christmas savings pot (while knowing full well I'll buy things for myself with the credit....)

@Fraaahnces love the lip balm.
@Trollsinmyeggbox The occasionally have the odd one in store but it's a bit hit and miss.

@PomRuns thank you! I'll make a back up plan.

@Fraaahnces That lip balm is a thing of beauty!
My empties from this week.
Will definitely buy the Altruist body lotion again, great price and product and like the company ethos. Have already bought a new tube of Ameliorate to use on knees and elbows.

I've got two empties today.
The mousse I love, it's a staple.
The shampoo was ok, a little expensive at £6 but not as harsh as regular shampoos and maintained the semi-permanent hair dye longer. I'd buy it again.

Afternoon, beauty box experts - keep getting emails from LiB about their “Style Awards Drops 1, 2 and 3”, e.g. “Drop 1 due to land tomorrow 09.00” with 2 more “drops” over the next week. As a brand new subscriber, is it a question of getting in quick before the good things are all gone, or is it sensible to wait until all 3 drops have “landed” before selecting my box? Or can you “add to bag” gradually over the 3 drops?

Thanks Experiment 627

Resisted the urge to buy any beauty boxes. I'm supposed to be using up my stash!

Another empty - used it on my face twice weekly alongside a regular face wash and it's kept my spots and blackheads away. Would repurchase if I needed to.

Inkey list niacinamide serum. It's fine but I don't think it does anything.

Revolution revive dry shampoo. I don't use this that often but I really rate it

No 7 exfoliatior. I like a gritty exfoliatior. This fits the bill.

I also used up a No 7 sheet mask.

I'm on a roll with empties!

Soap & Glory Coco Loco body wash mini - nice scent, really liked it.

Body Shop mango body yoghurt - Got this in the advent calendar. The body yoghurts are too watery for me and the scent was more like peach which I really dislike.

Body Shop tea tree hydrator - I bought this from a friend who was selling off her Body Shop at Home stash. I don't normally like tea tree stuff that much but this was nice and I used it in place of a day cream.

Body Shop tea tree gel cleanser - It was OK but wouldn't repurchase.

Body Shop hemp hand cream mini - This was a freebie. It was alright.

Nip+Fab retinol fix serum - Nice scent but don't feel it did anything. This is the last retinol serum I'll buy; they're a total waste of money.

Aussie Miracle Moist mini conditioner - Love this, gorgeous scent.

Christophe Robin scalp scrub - I got this in the Look Fantastic advent calendar. Ended up using it as a body scrub. Would definitely not purchase on its own although I am repurposing the v nice jar it came in.

Aldi hemp hand cream mini - Got this in a charity shop for like 20p, can't complain.

Body Shop shea shower creme mini - Bought on sale, pretty nice.

Body Shop Oils of Life night cream - Nice formula but bit of an old lady scent. Got this on sale but would absolutely not buy at full price.

Superdrug oatmeal vitamin E eye makeup remover - I actually bought this by accident instead of face cream. It was OK but would not repurchase as I prefer wipes for removing eye makeup.

I think that was all of them? I'm trying to resist the urge to but the Hearst beauty box now, I still have a ridiculous amount of serums and creams to work my way through.

I finally have a few more empties :
L'occitane dry skin hand cream- this was from an AC so was mini sized. This smelt amazing and did moisturise my hands. I think I might RP this once i've worked through my hand cream stash.

Cien Q10 Intense day cream- this was ok although I found it quite hard to rub in. I don't think I would rp.
Full:8
Sample/Mini:1
Sachets:0

All those beauty boxes sound amazing.

Rhyme & Reason conditioner, it's ok and does the job but I prefer the cheaper one I usually buy.

No. 7 eyeshadow, love it, it's pink with gold undertones so looks different from the usual flat colour of most eyeshadows, will repurchase when I've run out of everything else if it's still available.

I watched Tati's video on what she would buy if she lost her make-up bag. OMG the urge to buy everything on her list was HUGE! But I have been trying so hard to reduce my stash... I must stay STRONG!

I have quite few empties:

  • Pantene Hair biology menopause conditioner: really surprised how much I liked this, shampoo is still on-going but will be an empty soon too
  • Lush Glen Cocoa fresh face mask - this was best before 18 January 2023 - I actually quote liked it but when I went to use it at the weekend, I saw mould...
  • Lush Don't look at me fresh face mask - I was not so keen on this one - strong smelling and felt harsh on my skin. Also best before 18 January 2023 - I do not dare to open this one up!
  • by Terry nude-expert duo stick: when I first got this I really liked it but I am not sure what I was smoking as it does not settle well on my skin, makes my pores more visible
  • Nyx HD studio photogenic concealer: I have used better concealers than this (so excited as only two more to finish up!)

Not many empties this week for me. After a good week I have a mediocre one.

This is one of them:

Just a packet of huggies pure wipes. A staple in my home.

Bephanthol baby cream: it’s ok. I have a few more to go.

Colgate toothpaste 3-5years. Tates like fruit. My children prefer this to minty toothpaste. Would RP when I finish up what they have.

Resisted the boxes so far ….

Prai night cream. Love it, definite rp.
drSalts muscle therapy. Really like these SG plus quite cheap.
LABruckett hand cream - was ok, didn’t like the fragrance.
AquaDiPalma various samples. Liked but not as much as Colonia.
L’occitane hand cream. Staple product for me.

20/80
7 samples.
