@CinnamonCoffee Oh good because I'm also considering the Shay & Blue offer that's currently on!

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 19/06/2023 19:09

@CinnamonCoffee A woman after my own heart ♥️. Over 400 and counting…

CinnamonCoffee · 19/06/2023 20:02

Wow 400 is an impressive collection. Where do you keep them all?

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 20/06/2023 13:54

@CinnamonCoffee a full pax wardrobe devoted to the cause. It’s in a dark place away from heat sources so works for me pretty well. However I need to get rid of the set boxes as they take up a lot of space.
A perfume wardrobe literally 🤣

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 20/06/2023 14:24

I also have an empty:

Let me introduce you to the one and only, the cream that keeps on giving, the never ending joy of Diprobase cream

Oh my word it has taken me 7 long years to go through a 500ml bottle of this thick greasy consistency like Dulux paint cream. It smells awful (reminds me of the finger’s paint children use in Spain) (Jovi I am looking at you). It is super hard to apply. You really have to work it and it’s just all in all terrible. I got it for my ezcema but as you can tell we have a history of complete hate.
Besides, if you are feeling very adventurous and like adrenaline you only need to light a candle or come close to a naked flame to light up on fire. What’s not to love?

xogossipgirlxo · 20/06/2023 14:32

Two empties for me. Both Tropic:

Eye work - already have another one, will continue repurchasing
Sun day SPF cream- also have another one and will repurchase

vjg13 · 20/06/2023 14:52

@Thereislightattheendofthetunnel My daughter had the 500ml pump one for her eczema when she was tiny, I joked it was a lifetime supply!

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 20/06/2023 16:25

@vjg13 no wonder you thought that! I got to the point where I almost gave up. You know when there is so little left in the bottle but it just keeps on giving. I have another full bottle. I hope it’s not going to take me that long. I can’t donate as it expired but is still sealed

Fancyateapottea · 21/06/2023 10:07

Elemis marine cream - perfect day cream. Have another ready to go
ABH brow wiz - love it, just wish I didn’t go through them so fast. Have brought another already
MAC velvet teddy lipstick - melted in the heat! Love this colour but wish it wasn’t so matte. Won’t RP as I have a lot of other lipsticks to use
bath & body works showergel (fireside) - smells gorgeous though not sophisticated at all! Would RP but not at full price
Redken All soft shampoo - May favourite shampoo, I have RP already

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 21/06/2023 17:03

Hi everyone!

I wonder if any of you tried some creams from Kenzo called Kenzoki a while back. I mean around 10 years ago. They have been discontinued for a while but were really nice and wondered if any of you have found a substitute for these?

Empties

Tatcha dewy skin cream this was my second pot and as much as I love it I don’t think I’ll repurchase at the moment. I’ve got a lot of moisturisers on the go and the price point is a bit too much. And there’s some others I want to try too.

glow recipe toner mini I have repurchased the big size purely for the pretty rainbow pride bottle. I clearly have impulse control issues. Have decanted some back into the mini for travel.

naked sundays mineral spf already have my review on this a page or two back 🤣

ilia limitless lash mascara my new holy grail and probably the only mascara I’ll ever purchase again.

LRP efficlar duo gave to my son. Though I did like it and it did work I won’t repurchase as not cruelty free.

I also accidentally spent $300 at Sephora and Mecca this week so my empties are probably completely moot. See previous comment about impulse control issues.

Cyclingmummy1 · 24/06/2023 08:59

Hooray! I've finally finished the bottle of REN toner that came in the Liberty beauty drop. I liked it but it seemed never ending.

Buster27 · 24/06/2023 22:57

OK I properly fell off the thread this time but taking a picture of today's empties prompted me to come back. Also have a couple of old pics from the last month that I didn't get round to posting.

Shiseido wrinkle smoothing day cream - loved this. The texture and light scent were up my street and liked the look of the container. Didn't notice any wrinkle smoothing though and costs too much for me just for a nice smelling but standard moisturiser, so wouldn't RP.

Kalmar calm deep cocoon shower cream - fine but nothing special, wouldn't RP.

Loreal Elvive dream lengths conditioner - not the most effective, wouldn't RP.

Ritual of Sakura bath foam - I love this scent, but it wasn't as strong as Id like in the bath foam. Won't RP as prefer oils.

Body Shop Vitamin E toner - love this, my favourite toner. Will RP at some point, got a couple of different ones to use first.

Body Shop drops of youth serum - like this and my skin seems to too. Would probably RP but have quite a few others to get through.

Brazilian bum bum cream - hadn't tried this before, really liked the scent and found myself noticing it a couple of times throughout the day. Would buy.

Ted Baker mascara - OK, bit clumpy. Wouldn't buy.

Pure by gloss Body lotion - this was in a hotel I stayed at, and I was pleasantly surprised so took the extra one home. Lovely lemony scent.

Beauty Pie concealer - a staple for me, always have a spare.

Beauty Pie overnight skin perfector 2.0 - really enjoyed this, made my skin lovely and soft. Only not buying again as I've moved on to stronger retinal and plan to move on to tret.

I used up a tube of Senka White Collagen Moisturising Cleanser. It was a bit drying and somewhat irritating for my face, so I used it as a body wash. I think perhaps my skin doesn’t like opaque foaming cleansers. If they’re transparent, gel cleansers they seem to be fine. Gone back to Rovectin. It’s cheap and it’s fab.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/06/2023 17:58

Nip + Fab anti redness moisturiser, this was considerably out of date but I used it up as it didn't irritate my skin. Not sure it helped my redness but its spf30 and sinks in well.

Experiment627 · 26/06/2023 09:49

Good morning everyone!
I have some empties to report:

  • Isana Fresh Plus anti-perspirant 0% alcohol: I got this in a a German drugstore in Spain 🤪and it was ok but I get a bit whiffy in very hot weather
  • Essential Waitrose pink grapefruit shower gel: very reminiscent of The Body Shop one yet way cheaper 🥳
  • Garnier shea butter nourishing care: this came in the Garnier Good permanent hair dye & I got about 5 uses from it. My hair HATED it! TBH I think shea butter and me are not a good mix. This left residue on my hair and the dye really left my hair feeling over processed. A NO to both!

I LOVE grapefruit-scented bath stuff! And rhubarb too, Molton Brown do a nice rhubarb shower gel.

Fraaahnces · 26/06/2023 12:04

I love rhubarb and grapefruit everything too @MavisMcMinty

xogossipgirlxo · 26/06/2023 12:19

1 more empty here- Hello Body Aloe sleep face mask. Not even sure if they are sold in the UK? My sister sent it to me from Germany. I used it as hand cream, so it speaks for itself 😂

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2023 15:49

That Waitrose grapefruit shower gel is the bomb @Experiment627 . We don't live near one, but when we go I tend to stock up on eleventy billion of them, even though I have a lot of shower gel in my stash!

Experiment627 · 26/06/2023 16:45

Wow @SpongeBobJudgeyPants eleventy billion 🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
MavisMcMinty · 26/06/2023 17:53

I occasionally go to Waitrose, not because I can afford it but because it is strictly speaking my nearest supermarket, just a 25-mile round trip, and will definitely buy some of that grapefruit shower gel next time I go.

Please tell me they do a rhubarb one too?
