I’m loving reading all the posts but it’s making me want even more 🤣 but I remain strong so far…

latest stash of empties

Le Petit Marseillais x 2 both lovely fresh fragrances, still have quite a few to work through from my last order
REN rose Otto body wash smells amazing, not sure I’d spend that much to RP
Mystery shampoo no idea what is was as I’d decanted into this bottle - it was nice but I can’t RP as I don’t know what to buy
Aveda hair thickening tonic used to work on my menopausal hair…not sure it does now. Am desperate for something that will thicken my hair and hold a style if anyone has any ideas…
Fresh soy face cleanser was ok, nothing amazing and a slightly salady smell which I didn’t love
Emma Hardie Midas touch revitalising cream my skin loved this cream and it felt firm and well moisturised. The fragrance is super strong but even so it didn’t irritate so I’d probably RP

OTTO hand cream liked the medicinal fragrance but didn’t think it was overly moisturising so wouldn’t RP
SISLEY Black rose skin infusion cream disappointingly no rose fragrance and not much moisturising
Simple eye makeup remover stock item 😂 cheap as chips and does the job
Clarins moisture rich body lotion lovely stuff…pricey though
111skin rose gold illuminating eye mask if I’d realised how amazing this was going to be I would have saved for a special occasion! My under eye area was like silk after but it’s squillions to buy so won’t be doing that sadly

running total 45/100

Thanks @Fraaahnces I knew you would know! And see how bad my memory is with Stylevana 🙈

@CurlyFerret the hair thing is tricky. Have you tried Plantur 39? That really helped with my hairloss (but found it irritated my scalp). Or taking collagen?

OP posts:
CurlyFerret · 17/06/2023 18:39

@Experiment627 thank you, no I haven’t tried either — so far I’ve had the hair vitamin gummies and whilst they taste lovely I’m not sure they’re doing much to be honest. There are so many different versions of collagen I just go round in circles.

shampoo seems an easy one to try though so I’ll give it a go, thanks for the suggestions

CurlyFerret · 17/06/2023 18:41

@Experiment627 and weirdly my reply to you has been hidden for closer inspection??

Experiment627 · 17/06/2023 18:44

I wonder why @CurlyFerret 👀

@Experiment627 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knew menopausal hair was so controversial - but I was thanking you for your helpful reply mainly

Fancyateapottea · 17/06/2023 20:16

I have 2 empties!

Elemis Tonka & Vanilla bean lotion - I adore the smell of this and it was very moisturising and absorbed well. This was from a QVC deal, would happily get another in a deal

Sol de Janeiro (pink tub) - had a lovely smell, made my skin very soft but didn’t absorb as well as the elemis . This was from an AC, I Wouldn’t repurchase at full price

@CurlyFerret oh dear 😅 what did I miss?

MavisMcMinty · 18/06/2023 01:07

Huge pile of empties, although to be fair to myself it must be at least a month since my last photo.

Honestly, just looking at the picture exhausts me, I can’t bring myself to describe/rate any of them. Some I loved, some I didn’t. Will that do?

Experiment627 · 18/06/2023 05:12

@MavisMcMinty very impressive. Of course you need say no more if you do not want to 😘

I got rid of few nail polishes. They were in pale blue and lilac colour, but they were old, got layers and bit of discolouration. Also I threw away few face mask in sachettes. I kept sheet masks to use, but those cream ones are full of stuff that clogs my pores, so I don't want them. And I emptied bottle of perfumes (MK Sexy amber).

Wow, well done. It's amazing how much stuff we keep at home once we get to pay attention to it. So much of precious space.

CinnamonCoffee · 18/06/2023 12:33

Cult Beauty have a perfume edit! You may need to have the app to buy it today. It's £35!
To my shame I'm level 3 so get early access so it may not be available until tomorrow.

@CinnamonCoffee I have resisted ruptured so far but did waver. It also sent me down the rabbit hole of looking at the Next beauty boxes!

vjg13 · 18/06/2023 16:49

Not sure why "ruptured" appeared in that post!

CinnamonCoffee · 18/06/2023 17:05

Beauty boxes are such amazing value for money aren't they. I always love the cult ones but they usually sell out fast.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 18/06/2023 21:33

Superdrug pink clay face mask used today, skin feels nice and soft but I do have a few breakouts so maybe not one to repurchase.

StarryNightAddict · 19/06/2023 00:52

Not technically an empty but I returned the Kosas cloud set powder yesterday. Despite being colour matched in store it just wasn’t right and made me look like a ghost.

Was a shame as it had such great reviews and I really wanted to love it. The formula was good, so I think it was a me problem. I’ve always had issues with being colour matched, nothing is ever quite right.

MavisMcMinty · 19/06/2023 08:34

Although she won’t confirm it’s what I asked her for, I’m pretty sure this present from my sister is the Harvey Nicks beauty box mentioned way upthread, which I’d emailed her the link to. It’s huge, and it’s heavy, and I have to hide it from myself for 5 more weeks! Luckily I’ve already completely forgotten what’s in it, “lovely stuff” I’m sure.

@MavisMcMinty Fab i hope you enjoy it. I have already started using stuff in mine and am loving it

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 19/06/2023 10:02

@CinnamonCoffee you are norty! Grin I have that perfume box just sitting in my basket, despite having numerous perfumes on the go!

SwordBilledHummingbird · 19/06/2023 11:45

I've ordered the Cult Beauty perfume box. I already have more perfume than I know what to do with but they were a few I'd been wanting to try so I decided to go for it.
