I have a voucher to use and wanted to treat myself to some shampoo. My hair is straight and gets greasy. I have used some of the Aesop products before but never the shampoos. Are they any good? Does anyone have any other recommendations? Thank you in advance.

I've bought the chosen by you because the Good Genes is £70 and as a regular user it's worth it for that alone

Hi new to the beauty drop. I haven’t tried the Good Genes yet as I just got the previous beauty box but am waiting for a gap. Is there one in the Autumn?

I joined in April and so far there have been six “kits” and one GWP (gift with purchase), and of course one beauty drop box. Hopefully this volume of deals will continue!

I'm semi-tempted by the new kit but not enough I don't think. There have been a few kits recently so I'm going to hold out for a better one or, even better, a GWP.

Easily resisting the bridal ones and Chosen by You as I've various duplicates already in the cupboard.

I'm still trying to use up the bottle of REN Glow Tonic from a long-ago Beauty Drop box. It's enormous! I think we got it a year ago or something? I swear it regenerates when I'm not looking.

Does anyone else sometimes sit peacefully in bed at the end of a long day and gently sort through the stash, vaguely thinking about what to crack open next?

I found myself doing that the other night and realised it's basically the same as DD playing with her soft toys on the duvet.

Oh yes, @LemonJuiceFromConcentrate ! I have so much stuff that I have to sort it all into boxes, eyes, nails/hands, cleansers, toners, serums, moisturisers, exfoliators, lips, body… I look at my three (3) unused eyelash curlers and wonder if anyone anywhere actually uses the things? Every now and then I start a brand new make-up bag, putting in only brand new things, a full face-worth (apart from foundation of course, which obviously varies so much you could never include them in beauty boxes). The silly thing is that I almost never wear make-up, but I like rifling through it all.

When you get to this stage and you’ve stocked up for holiday, hard not to hang on for the next GWP and November mega deals.

is good genes good? You see it so often.

I would get this for the good Gene's alone, although the rest is inderwhelming. But I bought a huge GG in April to get the GWP so I really don't need one. Nothing else there tempts me, and I have a LOT of beauty products to use up.

Dis anyone use the Space Maak from the April GWP? The self-heating one? It made my eys more puffy than anything.

Yes! I have divided mine up into face, body and makeup and they are all separate Liberty make up bags, plus I have a massive stash of full size products in a storage box under my bed. I often have a little rifle and re-sort - I find it very calming!

I’ve gone for the kit. I’m also a regular user of the GG as well as Olaplex 3. I have previously used and really rate Chantecaille eyeshadows so a new one is a bonus. Also happy with the candle, and get lots of use from the Liberty scrunchie I bought in the Xmas sale, so quite happy to have another.

I will probably eBay the Votary oil and moisturiser, as less likely to use these.

Overall though definitely worth it for me.

And yes, I also regularly go through/sort my rather extensive stash. I confess some IKEA storage previously used for toys has been repurposed for cosmetics now the kids are older…

Newbie here just to say I only just joined the beauty drop this year and I love it. Got the weekend kit recently with credit I have accumulated throughout the year and was very impressed when it arrived going to save the rest up towards calender I think.

I was very nearly tempted by the weekender kit, but by the time I'd ummed and ahhed and tried to justify it, it had gone!
Was the perfume nice?

What kit is everybody talking about? Can't see it on their website?

It sold out last week and seems to have been replaced with the bridal ones x
