Just popped in after the worst week in school ever to celebrate E & S's new titles! When I saw the news it felt like a proper "that's how it should be" moment and I'd like to think the Queen is up there somewhere with a smile on her face. Also agree that Sophie needs a tiara upgrade. Big Time.

That makes me happy 😆 both Max dancing and E&S titles. Hope Sophie and Louise are presented with lovely new tiaras.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Kate wears for the Coronation as we haven't really seen her in formal, 'day' gowns as such.

And yes, really quite pleased to hear the news of Edward becoming DofE.

So glad to hear of Edward and Sophie's elevation. I think KC had the perfect solution to the royal dukedoms becoming non-royal issue by making it a life dukedom. And James still gets to be Earl of Wessex and pass that title down.

Also it's another reason for me to stay on MN (besides loving these royal style threads). No coverage at all in the US press yet. But when I sat down this morning with my first cup of coffee and opened MN, there it was.

I am here for Sophie getting a new tiara (or 2) to go with her new title. I would love to see her in a big sparkly QC type one.

Oh Maireas you're kind to ask but it's nothing I'd taint our happy little place with. I've just hit the exhaustion wall, we're on our knees already and it's only half way to Easter.

Good gracious, that green suit of CPV's is awful, especially with those boots. Back on Quality Street colours - green triangle again.

Perhaps Sophie likes aquamarines, so the Brazilian tiara would be a corker. Not sure now how high up she is as the duchess of Edinburgh. Does she get second dibs after Kate, or will Kate be wearing a coronet?

I think Sophie deserves a new tiara, perhaps deep amethyst or pink sapphires?

Who decides who wears what? Is it in order of precedence? Do they actually choose or get told?

Sophie looking good in casual wear I think. Sometimes I think she suits casual looks better than more formal wear (like Zara).

I love Meghan's chic all black ensemble. She looks great.

The oriental circlet tiara is something that would suit Sophie. Not sure if she would be allowed it though
