Indulged in too much naan bread! 😂

TangledWebOfDeception · 27/02/2023 18:34

Ahahah good point, must be that!!

QueryA · 27/02/2023 18:48

I really like Mary’s evening gown. Beautiful. I can’t wear dusky colours like that, I’d get dreadful sweat patches, especially in a hot country. 🙁

gluenotsoup · 27/02/2023 19:56

I love both dresses, especially the pinky orangey one. I don’t quite know what it is but it’s very flattering.

paradyning · 27/02/2023 20:25

I love both of Mary'a dresses!

Gooseysgirl · 27/02/2023 22:31

Oh Mary has totally nailed her India wardrobe so far 👏🏻 Love all three outfits. I think she's probably in my top favourites royal style wise... well she's the one I complain least about anyway 😆 I know she plays it safe a lot of the time, but very rarely gets it wrong IMHO. Except for the neverending birthday shite last year...

MotherofPearl · 28/02/2023 07:30

I agree @Gooseysgirl. I also really like a lot of Meghan's clothes - though they have different styles. I prefer plainer things on the whole.

TangledUpInDreams · 28/02/2023 10:41

I’d love Meghan’s wardrobe so much more if she could get her head around a good fitting session. Lack thereof ruins quite a few of her otherwise fantastic outfits. But what she does well, she does indeed do very well.

Glimpse of another outfit (Mary)

Another

TangledUpInDreams · 28/02/2023 10:43

(As usual with the caveat that pregnancy/breastfeeding/recovery after birth/weight gain and loss/change of shape does often throw a spanner into the works, so she does get a free pass for much of the time she’s been hugely in the public eye!)

TangledUpInDreams · 28/02/2023 11:34

Ah back in my happy place!! @Maireas what a world we live in.

Tiara perusal today, I think!

TangledUpInDreams · 28/02/2023 11:49

Speaking of Meghan, she’s been out and about today! Wearing a lovely Burberry coat with puffed sleeves.

01189998819991197253Sheldon · 28/02/2023 12:56

The colour is stunning on her. I’m not a fan of a puffy sleeve though.

KillingMeDeftly · 28/02/2023 12:57

White shirt, jeans and trench is the sort of classic look Meghan carries off so well. I think she struggled with "duchess dressing" but her more casual looks were 💯

TangledUpInDreams · 28/02/2023 12:58

I'm a big fan of what a lot of people would likely term 'fugly' coats/coats with an interesting element, so I admit I'm biased!

Maireas · 28/02/2023 13:00

Can someone post an image?.

Ach I was a 70s bairn and an 80s teen.

It is puffballraraitis syndrome.

Maireas · 28/02/2023 13:03

Thanks, @KillingMeDeftly .

I'm a mid 70s child. I hasten to add I do not love all shades/types of puff!!

01189998819991197253Sheldon · 28/02/2023 13:03

If there is a hint of surplus extra material I start to fret.

it is nowhere near fugly but for me a touch fussy.

01189998819991197253Sheldon · 28/02/2023 13:04

😊

Maireas · 28/02/2023 13:04

I'm slightly older than you, @01189998819991197253Sheldon , but I know what you mean about the puffballs!
We all had the big puffy sleeves and puffball skirts!

It was the fussy necks I hated
maireas

I have to have a bare neck these days. Always a v or a scoop. I love a square too.

The only time I button up to the top is when there is a torrential downpour or nippy hail.

Seen enough polo necks in the 70s to do me. (With my pinafores).

Meghan however looked bloody amazing in her Robin Hood green one.

Oh I meant that I actually do like some really quite fugly coats! Eugenie's recent one, for example (although it's not actually all that ugly). A bit of edge makes me happy; probably my rebellious streak!

01189998819991197253Sheldon · 28/02/2023 13:52

Ah. Got ye. 🙂

I am probably just how I like a neck. Square. I like to disappear into the shadows. I could never cope with being papped and snapped.
